Btw...hate to burst anyone's bubble guys, but chill with the whole ironsight concept. It only works with grouping and zero-ing real steel rifles. Airsoft guns are nothing more than super toy muskets. Even top AEGs with souped up gearboxes, tightbores, and hop-ups...ur only gonna get accuracy up to 100 ft average...maybe. That's with no cross wind...so obviously screw that half the time out in the field, unfortunately. My instruction will attempt to enhance individual and teamwork skills on a tactical maneuver basis: Fire team formations Radio communication React to contact Set up hasty defense/ambush Covering flanks "Pie the corner" Properly holding/caring for your weapon Etc Etc... Transitioning weapons to primary/ secondary, left/right...not as important as just knowing how to HOLD ur weapon in the first place. Quick reloads and shooting positions, great ideas...those can definitely be integrated into the training. Believe it or not, this is EXACTLY the feedback I'm looking for, ladies and gents! Good ideas, bad ideas...doesn't matter. Keep 'em coming!

That's how I figured you'd do it, just hadn't tried it. And it was mostly curiosity (me being me, and all... I like to try to know everything) I was pretty sure sights were mostly just for looks based on how our guns shoot... But since so many people brought it up I was wondering if maybe they were useful after all, lol.
LT If you wanna teach me this stuff beforehand, I might be able to assist as another teacher at the op for this in may.

That'd be great yo! That's the ultimate goal of this training: once u learn it, teach it to others. With knowlegde and practice comes the confidence. Btw, Dave ....oh no u did NOT just pull the "watch your lane" card on me! :-O

LT.......count me and my troop in for the training class........and very nice to meet you......met you Saturday........I am the ex-navy guy (all about communications, Radioman 2nd class 10 years service) with the M-60. Looking forward to it Thanks Omegaman Awesome sir! Thanks for ur support, and everyone else wanting to hop on board too. Quick update: I've come up with a tentative training schedule for day 1. This could possibly be a 2-day event, if everyone wants. As for volunteer instructors, I've got replies from Xulo, nbustarhymes, switchblade, and nightmare. U guys would be perfect!! In fact, i'd like your help to refine the training schedule, scenarios, and exercises. PM me soon as possible, and I'll send u a first draft. Thanks a bunch everyone!! Its important to me that this event be as fun, safe, and knowledgeable as epically possible...for student and instructor alike

What if we don't have a vest, or pouches? No biggie. You can still learn all the tactics and fundamentals that will be taught as well as learn more about what kind of gear to buy in the future if you ever decide to run some kind of vest.

What if we don't have a vest, or pouches? That's ok, yo. This is mostly about tactics and technique. The gear and uniform portion should help give u ideas about narrowing down, properly fitting, and taking care of epic gear awesomeness, should u want to save up and get some later
