FRAGO: Here's the skinny... -I will be Senior Instructor for said school, aptly named BATS (Basic Airsoft Tactics and maneuverS) -Proposed date(s): --TBA -Training includes: --Tactical formations & movements --Communication via radio & hand signals --Fundamentals of Offense/Defense/Reconaissance --Uniform/kit set-up instruction -Strict safety and weapons discipline will be maintained throughout. -Training will be: --intense --detailed --hands-on --safe --super ultra epically fun and AWESOME! -Remarks: --Guys and gals, this event will be a blast because it will improve your airsofting skills exponentially. I'm serious. This will be no-joke, intense, thorough, actual training. It is especially made for new-comers to the airsoft world who'd like to be on equal ground with the guys/gals that've been playing for years. (Airsoft veterans, this'll be a great opportunity to hone/improve your skills). Due to the detail and planning that will go into this, there's a couple pre-req's on your part: ---Discipline. This isn't the Army, obviously. However, i do ask that you show courtesy, discipline, and a listening ear. All safety rules and reg's enforced by OC-6 do not change. The entire field will be reserved for this event. Don't go off and do your own thing. ---Be a team player. Airsoft is a team sport. You will learn to move, think, and contribute as a team player at this event. Don't be a critic. Don't ridicule others. Don't go off and do your own thing. ---Volunteers are MORE than welcome...especially if this gets REALLY big! But again, I'm Senior Instructor. Ideas, suggestions, grips, complaints, comments...take it up with me and OC-6. Again, don't go off and do your own thing. --I'm endeavoring to solidify date(s) for this ASAP in conjunction with my work schedule...possibly next week! Questions, concerns, gripes, complaints, comments...add 'em here or PM me. I will be monitoring this thread frequently from here on out. Love, LT

Woo! I've been trying to learn what's in that brain of yours for awhile now, and you've been trying to teach me, but something always comes up and we don't get time. Now we will! Count me in.

Jumping on the bandwagon. This sounds awesome. Might be able to bring a few airsofting friends with me (Joebob, Marlo (like from Battlefield), Awesomeness, etc).

Most excellent! Ok...FRAGO: i will not be able to host the super hooah training as hoped due to work schedule. In fact, it'll have to sit on the back burner a couple months...BUT!!!...Here's the plan: -new tentative date: memorial day weekend, 05/25/2012 and 05/26/2012 -this is NOT designed to compete against OKI7's milsim event that same weekend. Rather, it will be a great alternate for those who won't be able to attend that event due to money, age, gear, transportation, etc. Sooo...for u airsoft Texans re-up to go to OKI7...go! Represent, man! -this is more time for me, and any volunteers, to plan it out so it can be super awesome. I want people to say it was the bestest, most legitest airsoft training they've experienced by the time its done! -questions, suggestions, comments...hit me up!

Ah, thanks. Is a FRAGO like a quick update regarding an earlier order?

FRAGmentation Order: its when commanders or, big Army in general, act like 12 yr old girls, change their mind about something set in stone, and expect u to do it riiiiight....now.
'Course a more technical term would be, yeah, an update or change to an existing order.

Heads up: geddonsgames.com is apparently hosting a similar training event beginning of April. Anyone attending that, please give me some details about what they instruct and how the experience is. Might as well complement their training, and avoid repeating too much of the same old, same old. Gotta keep things interesting and new, right?

Don't know if you've already considered these but what I work on with my team is -actually using iron sights and optics instead of just tracing BBs because I see alot of people doing that. -Transitioning from primary to secondary weapon -transitioning from right to left hand with a carbine and vise versa -speed reloads -shooting positions (crouched behind cover, shooting while prone, etc.) Just some thoughts. Hopefully I can get my whole team out to this. I'll definitaly be there.

Well its a good thing to teach using iron sights and optics...but the majority of players dont have dead accurate weapons so they resort to to leading the shot with a few bbs first. But good idea either way.

My face protection keeps me from using the ironsights on my guns, and I'm probably not the only one. Keep that in mind.
