If you haven't signed up for Shattered Skies - and you should because Dave and Spetz are working hard to make this a top-notch op - this is to invite you to enlist in the Republic of Georgia forces.
You might be asking yourself, what/where/who is the Republic of Georgia? First, let me say it is not where Borat comes from, although it is a former Soviet Republic. Second, sadly, it has nothing to do with Daisy Duke.
So that leads me to uniforms - no Borat man thongs or Daisy Dukes, just good old tri-color desert, which other than Woodland, probably the cheapest and most readily available camo. If you email or PM Dave aka txtrench, he can have a set waiting for you in your size when you arrive at the op for only $20. So if you are short of cash, Georgian is the perfect choice.
Also, weapon choice is easy. As a former Soviet Bloc member, AKs are acceptable, but since the wall came down, Georgia has been a steadfast U.S. ally and supplied with M4 and other American arms. So basically, if you have either Soviet or American weapons you are set. Once again, what ever AEG you have, we have a place for you.
Extra perk: if you need a ride from DFW and can't get there, we will have a carpool leaving the morning of the Op from Midlothain. And, finally, we have some extra Republic of Georgia flag patches for team-members (until we run out).
So, if you register Georgian, send me your info, loadout, etc. and we will get you a patch and start discussing tactics.
Nonetheless, even if you can't be Georgians and want to be Americans and fight along side us or neo-Communist bloc so we can shoot you, we look forward to seeing you in Temple on October 29!
