I guess I'll be the first one to say that I'd like to join the team and can take people with me any time I go out, which will probably be around every other sat and hopefully around every other wednesday.

Im on the rag-tag team Exploding Plungers. we could use more members but arent to worried about it. We will be reaturning to the field starting next the week after next and will be able to give rides to anyone in the waco/robinson area.

It'd be awesome to have a real team where we could get used to playing together and working as a unit. I think it'd make it a lot more fun to have some better tactics than just the regular pick-up group. Noe's got a lot of experience, I've got a lot to learn but I'd like to think I can hold my own ok, I know Aj said he was interested and he's a great guy to work with, I might be able to get some other Baylor guys on here, and Aj also mentioned he had a couple friends who might come out. We should be able to get something going in Waco as long as people get on here and get plugged in so we can coordinate.

And hey Krogar, by "real team" I didn't mean to imply that your raggedy-taggedness wasn't good enough , I typed that and posted it before I saw your post. Hope to see you and your people out there!

definitely need to learn some hand signals so that we don't give our position away. i went paintballing at guru yesterday. we had 4 players and met up with some waco paintball players. got drilled pretty good with some paintballs. nice big red spots. We played airsoft after paintball, and other guys were definitely interested. So there is 4 possible airsofters in Waco trasnsitioning to airsoft. Also, they have a small private woodsball field near industrial blvd in Hewitt that they play paintball. we could play airsoft or paintball out there. they usually play on sunday due to work schedule. I'll post more updates as it comes along

aj, all im going to say is be careful at that woods ball place.... make sure that you have permission from the OWNER of the property, make a face to face with the local cops and make sure someone on the city counsel knows about it if it is inside the city. if not you may run into the same issues that gray fox ran into in Dallas. also if anyone can see you guys playing you could become victim of the nuisance law. the cops will be called and every time they show up you are billed for them showing up.... about 100.00 per officer per incident. that has been used to break airsoft / paint ball fields in the past. remember that Texas state statute has airsoft guns in the same category as real firearms.
play safe

I'll post more updates as it comes along I can do that. It is something that can be done in the back yard without the replicas. So no need to go to a paintball field or whatever.
So this is doable and simple.

Thanks Dave for the heads up. That's a great idea. Don't want any trouble from the cops

Thanks Dave for the heads up. That's a great idea. Don't want any trouble from the cops More importantly do it so this sport doesn't get any more bad rep.
Lots of kids and immature adult roaming around out there using these replicas for bad things.

Well I usually train fully geared up in my backyard away from prying eyes...
But we can start off with some communication basics which can be done in any setting (Living room, backyard, fast food joint, etc)
Once we get into more hands-on things like gear load-outs, advancing, flanking, we would need to use a bigger setting....aka Dave's field...or any other.
But I dunno if the other places will let us train for free.
I know Dave will...as long as we help him out as well....I know I have I I will for the sake of this field.
As for your G36 why do you want to modify it? How long have you had it and how long have you played airsoft?

I'm in for whatever aj, I'd say wednesday games out at dave's would be an easy way to train, but I don't know about everyone's schedule. Also a good place for some of the intermediate tactics like moving from cover to cover as a team and flanking and stuff can be guru for 8 bucks a person. It's close too so wouldn't be as much of a time investment.
Honestly though now that I think about it, for a lot of that stuff we might not need to have our weapons so Cameron Park or somewhere could be feasible for quick and free run-throughs minus weapons.
I think the bulk of it will just have to be coordinating when we go to dave's though. I'm almost certainly going tomorrow, and possibly saturday but that one might be questionable.
Are you guys in for shattered skies? Idk if noe will be serving in a more official capacity or not but it'd be great to be on the same squad for that!

Toffee here, Team WBTH would be open to Practising with anyone in the Waco area who is interested. We are also in contact with Daniel "Rizer" and Chrono Trigger. We'll be going to Shattered Skies on the 29th, we're preregistered and good to go. If anyone wants to come together with us to form a Co-Lead B.A.T. team ("Big Ass Team") or something of the sort, then please contact me.

Hey Toffee, I for one would love to get a bunch of waco guys together and skirmish/practice some stuff for shattered skies. Neo, AJ, and I have been trying to get a team together from Waco anyway so it'd be great to meet some other people from the area.
