come to the field and we will teach you...... LOL no issues, ite kinda like MILES but a lot more fun. just keep 20 feet away from people you are going to shoot and thats about it for the most part. there are other rules (they are posted here in the rules area.).
other than that just come on out and have a great time. please try to not use the word noob, some fields will treat you like one if you tell them you are one. here you are a new guy, we respect that cus we were all there once. dave

Problem solution for the xbox - take the power cord away.
Bring your son and a couple of his friends out ( not xbox friends ) he will have more fun that way. He get's out, gets some excersise, has a good time with his friends and his dad. So everyone wins. That and he gets to shoot you. You could always start a friendly rival with him too, ie; opposite teams. It's not everyday you can go out and peg your dad and brag to mom about it later. Just a few suggestions. I did that with my nephew, all he does is breathe and sleep his xbox and playstation. That and they can relate the game to airsoft. Minus the infinate running and jumping.

Welcome to the community Alex! This is a great community for new players. Great guidance and support from the other players as well as the owner. So come on out with your son and give it a try, there are plenty of rentals for him to use and get a taste of it! Oh, and you're never too old

Thanks for allthe words of encouragement, I appreciate it. @dave, I was the one who showed up the one day you had the excavator delivered and me and my son checked out your shop. My son is 12 and we both now have our guns, now we need to just find a good Saturday to head out there and start. Thanks again everyone.
