[rant] I just want to remind everyone to follow the engagement distance for your gun. Also to use Trigger Control. I was shot in the arm from 5 feet away while I was dead and walking out of a game. If I was not wearing a long sleeve shirt the BB would have broken skin. It is important to always have Trigger Control. This statement is not targeted at anyone just thought everyone should be aware of the seriousness of engagement distances. [/rant]

Once while i was playing paintball i got shot in the shoulder less than 10 ft away while i was dead and walking out of the game. The bruise looked like the spiderman symbol though.

"point blank" shooting is perfectly legal in paintball aka bunkering. Paintballs break apart, bb's dont ( most of the time )

I got way to many scars from playing paintball and so fsr i have none from playing airsoft not only that but i dont think the bbs hurt as much plus you dont have to worry about people freezing the bbs cuz if they do it wont make a diferance thats one of the reasons i quit playing paintball cuz you will always have that jerk (for use of better words) that just like to try and hurt some one

I played tournement paintball for 9 years, paintball tourament style and airsoft are world apart in my opinion ( where most of the bunkering happens) As for the freezing paintball thing, half the time the pressure from the air and the bolt will just break most of the balls. The gel shells will become to brittle. This wasn't the case i years ago when most paintballs were thick shelled. But there are cereamic bb's, metal bb's, glass bb's that are out there. The option is still there. No matter what game/hobby/sport you play there will always be that one guy.
