just drop a M-4 with a motorised mag in it. should fit just fine with out the buffer tube, stock and outer brl. also just tape or wedge the trigger back and have a press button switch on the butterfly and wire it between the bat and the gun, that way you have control of the trigger without looking like it.

i was going to put a p90 in a wood M2 reciver, feed in p90 mags through the top cover, and use a leverage system with the butterfly. that way i didnt have to tear it apart to reload. i was more asking if there would be any problem with using it on the field with a tripod.

No problem. Just think it would be better and cost less with a m4 set up. But no problem with game play depending on GPS.

Exactly my thoughts Sonja! XD Most of the custom M2 project's I've seen used an A&K M249 gearbox for a base gun, also you could consider a Browning .30 cal, the trigger group for that may be a bit easier... satisfy those WWII enthusiasts as well.

i have never seen a 1919 done well. the butterfly grips with a momentary on button is just soooooo simple and will cost about 5.00.

killbuckets gun looks good till you get to the trigger, i have a real 1919 and the best way to go for a 1919 or M2 is a butterfly grip, easy to make easy to fire

well im going with a p90 in it for realisam. i dont want 3000 or so round mags in it and it will be easier to reload. with the trigger. i plan on hinging the butterfly so when i push down on it, it pulls either a cord or metal, attached to the trigger. simple levage. and it isnt going to be perfect. due to not having exact blueprints, its going to be pretty basic, but it isnt going to be a piece of crap either. any advice on building a tripod? this should be interesting on the field
