Yep. That was the first time I've ever worked on a L96... much less a sniper rifle.
It was a great learning experience and it was fun working on it.
That now officially puts Sniper rifles in my list of things I can work on. I will update my post as soon as I can.

Five stars The customer service was very good It took some time to get it to him but i understand he has a busy job. I found mailing works pretty well. The one thing I forgot to ask to get fixed was the hop up bucking but I'm gonna do that tomorrow and I have a part in the gear box that I'm gonna upgrade well I have the gun apart hopefully it wont end up like last time I worked on a gear box but this time I will keep my cat out of the room...

Hello, I have a g&g GR15 Raider XL electric blow back. I have only played one game with it but right efor the second one started, it wouldn't shoot. I have opened the gun but not the gear box so if you could take a look at it then that would be great! It has a version 2 gearbox and that's jut about all I know. Any help would be great so I live in Austin if that helps anything contact me back at rnobyn@aol.com thanks!

If you haven't had it long it may still be under warranty, which would be cheaper than paying someone to fix it.

...or that too. ;D But if for some reason that route does not work, come out to the field. If I'm not there I'm sure someone will be there to help you out. But I will be at the field May 19th and June 2nd. Both are Saturdays by the way.

Just a reminder.
I will be at the field on the following dates...
Saturday, May 19th, 2012 Saturday, June 2nd, 2012
Bring me your broken replicas...and I will attempt to fix them.
...or at the very least tell you what needs to be done to them in order to get them running again.
;D

Do you do gas guns as far as say... a KJW M700 repair? or do you know how to install a R-hop with good sucess? (I can install them, it just takes FOREVER to get it correctly and fly right...) R-Hop into the KJW that is...
And, as far as what is wrong with the KJW, it's something to do with the hop up, I just can't figure it out. Also, a small issue with the bolt, the handle rotates on it, so I know I messed something up on it.

I do gas pistols. Haven't done any work for sniper rifles. No experience on RHOP...though I have been thinking of tackling that soon.

Ill be tinkering with AoE, airseals, polishing of GB and barrels, shimming, cylinder radiusing, and r-hop.
But not after I do that to my toys and ensure everything is top notch. Haha

Hey did you ever get into v3 gearboxes? My ak is having issues. I Think it's just badly lubed and/or shimmed, but as I've already screwed it up repeatedly I thought I should ask someone who knows what the hell they're doing

I have an iwi tavor tar21 that I was trying to learn to dismantle today. In that process the spring that gives tension to the trigger dislodged before I could see how it was seated. Do you have any idea how to seat the spring? I'll give yah 20$ through PayPal if need be I just can't figure this out...
