The Gun
I love 7.62 AR platforms and this one seems to fit my wants exactly, but what are y'alls opinions on it? Yes I know it has lower FPS than usual SR-25s but I want to use it as an assault rifle not a DMR. I love the fact that it fires at less than 400 FPS its exactly what I was looking for, I like the thought of a shorter .308 rifle for closer engagements.

Sr25s are very cool, but if you operate on a team, I highly suggest the m16 platform over the sr25 because then you can share mags. If you are a lone wolf, go with the sr25. Just my two cents

Thats a good idea, if I happen to find a team soon I may but as of now I'll probably stick to the 25

My $0.02:
Pros: - Looks (can also be a con depending on who's talking) - V2.5 gearbox (extended V2) is a pro IF you plan on upgrading it to actually perform well.
Cons: - 7.62 mags cost a lot more than regular ol' STANAGs. - It's big and bulky. - Classic Army quality has gone down the toilet in the past few years. - v2.5 gearbox not as popular as standard V2, so parts availability not as good.
