it is a church paint ball youth group that has had it with the PB attutuide and will be going into AS. they are a great bunch of people and will be useing AS guns.

i just put down 6 spots as more people sign up i will be putting no 7 up, 8, 9, and so on....

so please sign up then you can be number 2.
im just waiting for EOD, round rock, HH, waco and killeen to send me names or numbers.

Greetings from Shepherd of the newly formed Hillcrest Iron! We are the group Dave is referring to. 4 of us had the pleasure of skirmishing with Waco F.A.S.T. and some EOD members a couple of weeks ago.

We were incredibly impressed with the spirit and attitude of both Dave, the field owner, and the guys from FAST; Heinous, Neo, and Firefighter. They were helpful to us new folks , gracious, patient, and all - around great people, and that is the major reason we are getting involved here.

We will have our top 4 there on the 23rd, myself (Shepherd), Bear, Magnus, and She-Ra. Supporting us will be around 15 green squad members, eager to test their mettle against the legendary Waco FAST and the rest of the Temple area veterans.

I suspect that our team may be battered on the battlefield, but I can promise you that we will fight to the last man (and woman) and a valiant struggle shall ensue for dominance of the Kookaburra Field!

Echo one is a good brand! Evike just isn't. They like to sell the returns for new.
I love my G36. Still need 10 or so M4 midcaps for the new bandoleer'o'mags. This plus the drop leg gives me 30 mid caps. That is BB spraying paradise.

Here's my $2.50 when ever I hear the question, "Which AEG is better?"

This is what, the {insert #} thread on this subject this {insert time frame}?

And if you read them, you'll only find that EVERY AEG out there has someone claiming it is the best, with and equal number of people claiming that said AEG is the worst.

You're going to see someone say G&G is the best, followed by someone decrying that CA is in fact the best. They'll go on for a few posts arguing with each other.

Then you'll get someone telling you to go for an E1. Followed by someone calling the E1 junk and that it's just a re-branded JG and you're wasting your money. Of course this will be followed by another praising their E1 and that it came with a warranty which is why it's better than a JG.

Then there will be the TM fanboy demanding that all clones suck that you absolutely MUST get a TM. Then followed by the complete internal upgrade he did to it. And if you put some thought to that, you'll realize, that the fanboy's TM, is no longer really a TM, just a mish mash of aftermarket parts stuffed into a TM body.

Then you'll get someone who'll list off all the different brands with their good and bad points only to conclude their post with, "at least this is wut i hered"

I could go on for hours.

Bottom line, find a few that you like, read their reviews, then head to the Airsoft Review Database, read a few more reviews.

Then if you're still not convinced, post your selections here. But be forewarned, you may just see a repeat of the above.

Find one that you like that is in your budget and go for it.

As my sig tells, I have AEGs from cheap to "high-end" They each have their perks and they each have their downsides.

I've seen kids come out with sub $100 sports store knock offs just own the field and I've seen guys with $1000+ rigs bitch and moan and whine that it's not working right.

Ya might as well get into a Ford vs Chevy or Pepsi vs Coke pissing contest.
