Is the d-boys scar-L or the Classic Army scar-L better? I know classic army usd to be great but not so much anymore. but most d-boy guns I see are $50-$100 entry level guns. so I don't know which is better. thanks for any help.

you are confusing some things...
D-boys scars are banned from further import, no more support or parts in the USA.
CA scars
there are 3
old sportline (not so good) discontinued,
new sportline (much better)
CA pro line (best) but exp.

Well you can repair it since it uses mostly universal parts but I wouldn't bother with dboys. Now if you want a great deal on a scar AngryGiant has a nice one over in the for sale section.

Stick with CA. Got a LWRC M4 CA from Dave about a year ago. Its my main gun, fast, reliable and dead on as many have found out the hard way.

my main is a CA magpul m4 and it is great but it isn't one of the really new ones that have gotten some bad reviews. so did CA pull out of the slump they had or are they still in it?

I have had no issues with my dboys scar at all or getting any parts for it the externals have been easily available through airsoft extreme slightly modified and it works better then any guns ive owned except my aps

If you're going to spend that kind of money you might as well get the VFC which is much nicer.

I originally asked because angrygiant has a dboys and a CA for sale in his thread for $80 and $90 respectively. but if I bought one new I would defenitley spend the extra to get a vfc.
