I want to start by saying hello, I recently joined the forums because of my growing interest in Airsoft. So far the community seems great and I can't wait to get on the field with you guys someday. Secondly I have been eyeballing this gun M82 AEG and was wondering if it would be something to start with.

hi and welcome to the forum, that gun you are looking at can shoot from 20-30 ft after the first week, if it lasts that long... I have used guns for 30 that can shoot 150+ ft..... before you buy please bring your parents (if under 18, and yourself to the field so I can give you and them a class on AS guns) thanks
