Gone to lowes or any similar place and tried to find a screw with that same thread?

Well the other issue is that half the old screw broke off in the shaft. Since the shaft is so small I dont have a drill bit to get it out.

....ouch.
Got access to a dremel or a hacksaw?
Maybe cut a small cut similar to what you see on flat head screws and take a small screwdriver and take it out?

nnonono I still think your missing it... the screw is stuck inside the tiny brass shaft. I would have to cut the shaft in half in order to do what your saying.

I too have a T3 from JG just like yours. I feel your pain. That is one tiny a%% of a hole. You'll never get it out.
