Hello everyone,
Just making an introductory thread. My name is John McClain, I am 20 years old and I am a prior US Army MP. Got a medical discharge back in November so now I'm pretty much all airsoft. I've been in airsoft for about 5 or 6 years now. Sundays are my free days for it. So I guess one question I would have would be what are the Sunday turn outs like in comparison to Saturdays?
Also... Any chance the owner (From what I've read that would be Dave) would adopt the TASO ROE for Snipers? I have custom built my DMR up to those specifications and would hate to not be able to use it on your field. I understand I am only one person and the likely hood of any rule being changed just by me asking is a long shot, but hey... Never hurts to ask, right? In the case that some one is not aware of TASO ROE that would be 550 FPS with .2's or 2.8J with the minimum engagement of 100 ft.
Anyway, I realize this is only an introduction and I may have made a TL;DR.
Edit: I play with ESS crossbow glasses right now... which have the impact rating required, but... obviously they don't seal. I'm assuming I'll have to grab some fully sealing ones, correct? Now I just have to find some that don't fog. That's why I enjoyed the crossbows so much. haha. Hooah

hello and welcome to the forum im former army too so you will feel right at home, I hope.
TASO, whats that? LOL ok taso no longer follows current insurance and or industry standard rules. the 500 fps rules are what everyone will be following if they are not already doing so.... fields that are not are not following the rules and its on them.
yes full seal goggles are required again welcome. dave

So new insurance standards = 500 fps max? I'll have to re-adjust as well as shop around for some good full sealing eye wear.
Just to be clear... 500 FPS is approved correct? I might as well re-build it to the correct fps.
All my AEG's minus the DMR are at 400...
the DMR is right now at 550, but I'll make adjustments to tone it down to 500.
I know the AEG's at that velocity come with the 20 ft rule... Other than that... I'm all legal at your field, correct?
Lastly, are face masks required or only recommended?

Sweet. Excited to head out there. Planning on the 3rd sunday of next month. That gives me enough time to properly tune my DMR as well as time to mod a mesh mask to some full seal goggles... Just ordered some ESS Profile turbo fan goggles.
