First off I would like to thanks Dave for always improving his field. Thanks to all the admin. The four hour drive started at 5am. But arrived at the field pumped and ready to go, knowing there was going to be some action. Registration, and the few items I needed were available at the store, quick and painless. Except Dave needs to give discount for AARP members...lol j/k. Admin did well assembling and presenting scenarios. Our on the spot elected commander did an excellent job taking over his role. Orders were precise and directed, although not always followed, lol. normal. I like the fact that between games there is not a thirty min break, we came to play, and thats what they did. Stop long enough to reload and talk about next game and were off to the races. One of the few places in the state that does that. Hats off to all involved in that. I will not go into detail about all scenariios. The only one with confusion was about the bombs, I think we had every box looking container on the field at our base, but no cardboard ones, lol. Still lots of trigger time. I really didnt have a favorite game, they were all different and all entertaining. I had no problem with any of the players not calling hits, another reason I love playing this field. I have never been to this field that I did not have a good time. My movement was slow because I had a shot in my heel the day before, it made it a little difficult to run, but I was not going to miss a game. I did not catch at the start of the day Dave was going to cook for lunch, my bad, that would have been better than the trail mix and tuna fish we ate, then everyone flocked to get food and we were like ....oh well. But I just want to say thanks to all the admin, players on both sides for good sportsmanship and well fought games, so thanks from
Duke Recon Warriors (soon to be South Texas Coalition)

As much fun as we had yesterday theres one thing I think I need to address. Im not bashing anyone simply just making a statement. I will take it upon myself to push you. I will not let those who take this seriously have a bad experiance because some cant keep up. If youre not prepared to take on a challenge simply just dont come. I will test you mentally and physically and push you to your limits and I can promise you, you will have fun, and more importantly you will come out with confidence. I went easy yesterday due to some players telling me they were physically exhausted and thought about quitting. Fight through it and keep going. It'll only get tougher from here. Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday. -Rabit
