We will be giving away some Task Force Sparrow swag at the op so if you want a chance to win come to the op and bring the sportsmanship.

Just a suggestion, and this might not be possible, but you should have a training day before the op to help people like my brother and I who are teens who take airsoft seriously, but don't have any sort of background for tactics. Or maybe we could just run with y'all for a game a Saturday or something.

Unfortunately I dont think we will have time to play before the op. We do plan on hosting training events but none before the op. We will be at Op Aftermath Apr 19 as press and working in the shop. If you happen to be there Im sure we can chat and go over a few things throughout the day.

We will be releasing a few training tactics videos and stateside info videos before the event. What would you guys like to see? Anything specific?

We will be releasing a few training tactics videos and stateside info videos before the event. What would you guys like to see? Anything specific? The major thing i see every week (and I do this sometimes too) is that when people move as a group they have a tendency to just bunch up. Maybe have some training on how to move effectively as a group (say 3-6 people).

I am willing to work with anyone that wants to in order to train some of the basics. All it takes is a day we can link up at the field between now and Stateside. While I am not briefed in on the specifics of Stateside, I do understand the basics of fire and maneuver.

So heres the plan, as much as we'd like to support another event hosters game ours comes first. We can either organize a game at Texas Paintball on Apr 20th, or we will come out to Temple Apr 27. What would you guys prefer?

Yes stateside is still a go. This will just be a normal skirmish day to hang out, get some help if needed, and ask any questions you may have.

So I'm kinda a noob to ops, so I have a couple questions.
How do respawns work? Is there a "safe area where I can reload (I only carry mid caps)? Is it just one huge game? And finally, when will the objectives be released?
Thank for putting on what I hope to be a great intro to ops!

1) Respawns will work on a basic respawn location system. Basically if youre shot you will go to a specific location and just respawn back in. I will post the respawn map up later today. Respawns will change throught the day which I will explain when I post the map. 2) The safe area to reload will just be your teams respawn point. 3) This game is run on our clash system. To easily explain this the op follows the storyline of the original post but the game will be broken up into "checkpoints". Each team will fight over certain objectives in each clash. Once each clash is over there will be a short break to change Respawns and prep for the next clash. There will be anywhere from 5-8 clashes. 4) The objectives will not be posted on a forum thread just to keep teams from knowing the opposing forces objectives. COs already have their teams objectives and are allowed to share them with their teammates. If you would like a list of the objectives please message your teams CO, who can be found on the original roster. But PLEASE do not post them anywhere other than private messages.

The image is to large to post on the forum so here is a link to the facebook image along with the map and respawns explained. It is HIGHLY recommended that you bring one of these to the event. www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?fbid=419870798105016&set=oa.141996815966315&type=1&theater

Yeah, your link is kinda broken. Like most times (At least for me). I an use a field pass for this, right?
I'll probably go as green, fi I can get a ride(hint hint). Just don't put me down yet.

Just to clear things up about the uniforms for Operation Stateside, if you show up in civilian clothes YOU CAN STILL PLAY. You will be given a colored armband and put with the team of your choice (pending numbers). Please continue to sign up.

Looks like Grackle and I are confirmed to attend. Also bringing Brando (woodland camo), and possibly one other.
