DMR.

Hey guys,
Lately I've been thinking about getting a DMR. I was just wondering what brand of DMR (Preferably an m14) is a very sturdy, accurate, and over all the best model in the price-range of about $200-$300

You can't buy anything with remotely DMR-like performance off the shelf. You'll need to spend a considerable amount of time tuning and optimizing.

MM is kind of right, in the past DMRs were built by the player... but echo1 has some great guns out there that come close to what you want. I would say a full sized M16, M14, or SVD are all good options, they will work great with just a little work.

Just remember the pros AND cons. everybody loves a good sniper kill, but safety rules, as well as how ur used to playing, could help or hinder the enjoyment. Most airsoft DMRs shoot 400+ fps, and must be semi-auto only or bolt action. if u wanna be a legit sniper all guillied up and hiding in the bush...well...learn patience cuz u probably won't see a lot of action, provided u don't wanna get caught.

With those factors in mind, have a good secondary weapon. gas pistol, SMG, tight carbine aeg...whatever suits ur needs to break contact in case ur in a tight spot
