Just make sure you have the proper things to use one, so you don't ignite the field.

I have a good idea what I'm doing for the most part, just the 11.1 I'm using right now is beating weird

For one, make sure you have a lipo/life compatible charger and a lipo bag. If overcharged, they do swell up and may ignite once exposed to oxygen. Charge them outside. You can never be too cautious. I've seen too many flame up at RC events. And they happen in their lipo bags so the fire is contained. Please be cautious. Did I already emphasize that? Well I can't emphasize it enough.

And I agree with angry bear. Do not buy cheap lipos! They will not last. They are cheaply made. I have been down that road and they swelled up on me. Not worth it. Spend good money on high quality lipos. Stay away from Venom and Intellect. Cheap! Buy from Maxxamp! That's a good reputable company in my opinion.
