There should be a hostage game. Like there are the enemies at a building with a hostage inside and the other team has to illuminate the enemies and rescue the hostage. But here is the catch the good team has a few people with snipers and they must take out the enemy team without being seen. If they are seen then the hostage is dead

What would the rest of the non-sniper good team do?

They would be sneaking up on the building or area the hostage is at taking out the guys the snipers can't get

If you can make it work, then go for it, however:
So lets say one of the guards is shot, he yells out hit, and walks off the field. Congrats, the whole other team heard him shout hit and saw him walk off the field, cover blown even though no one on the other team was seen.
Also, the other team knows someone is coming and they know about when they're coming, out in the real world, someone guarding a hostage doesn't know when, where, or if someone will try to make a rescue attempt.
And considering that airsoft guns have rather limited range, as soon as one person fires with their AEG or GBB, the whole defending team will know about it because they could hear it. The only way they other team wouldn't hear it would be if the shooter was 200 feet away with a BASR, but most people don't even have a BASR, and then if he hits someone they shout hit, and blow cover anyways.
IMHO this scenario is not well suited for airsoft.

To address the sounding off of hit in this scenario. We have played some local games where a team had to take out a VIP with guards and other such scenarios. We have found in those games if instead of calling hit the player pulls out their dead rag places it on their head and sits down silently it works a bit better. Its not perfect but it keeps the dead from walking off and everyone noticing or sounding off and everyone noticing.
