Hey guys, I'm bored of AEG's so I'm selling mine to buy a GBBR. Before you tell me that GBBR's will never perform like an AEG: I know, GBBR's are less reliable, perform worse, and are more expensive. However, they are much more fun to shoot, and I love to tinker and I'm good at it. And considering how lousy I am at airsoft, a worse performing gun can't hurt my game too much. (sad but true)
That said, the gun is a Dboy SCAR-H MK17 in tan (much closer to FDE). The externals are amazing for a clone gun, they are on par with guns worth much more than this one. As far as I can tell the upper is milled aluminum and the plastic parts are fiber reinforced and very sturdy. Since the pictures were taken the gun has acquired a few more scratches from use, but nothing too severe.
I'm asking $275, and I will include an NCStar reflex sight for an extra $15.
What you get
-Gun (of course)
-3 Pmag 20LR 140 round midcap magazines in FDE
-1 300 round high capacity magazine
-2 MOLLE double magazine pouches, each holds 2 magazines
-7.4v 2200mah 20C Li-Po battery pack wired to Deans ultra plugs
-Li-Po balance charger (will charge either 7.4v or 11.1v batteries)
Internals
-Madbull X-Factor Piston (7 metal teeth, 2nd tooth shaved)
-Systema steel Cylinder Head w/sorbo
-SHS Type 1 Cylinder
-Bearing Spring Guide (stock)
-7mm SHS steel bushings
-Madbull 407x6.03mm Tightbore
-Flat hop
-Reshimmed, Relubed, AoE corrected
-Custom MOSFET w/ 16 AWG Silicon Wire & Deans Ultra Plugs
-SHS torque motor
-SHS steel cut off lever.
Externals
-Madbull Gemtech Blackside Mock Suppressor
-Magpul MOE Hand Grip
Tweaks/Modifications
-Radiused gearbox shell
-Trigger safety post extended so trigger hardly moves at all on "safe".
-Custom made spring added to bolt catch to push it outward so it works regardless of the guns orientation
-Magwell modified to accept Pmag 20LR magazines (which also had to be modified to fit in the magwell)
-Gas block straightened (slightly crooked when I got it, hammered out the retaining pin and filed the groove in the top of the barrel so it sits straight)
-Gas block painted silver
-Barrel straightened (angled slightly to the right when I got it, shimmed front on one side and back on opposite side)
-Removed right side selector switch locking ball. (I'm right handed, and with the locking bearing in place the left side switch dragged behind the right due to the way the SCAR selector is made, this way the left switch clicks into place perfectly)
-MOE hand grip cut and filed to fit SCAR receiver.
-Epoxy added to folding stock locking tab to make it actually lock into place.
-Gearbox cylinder window filed to fit SHS cylinder, which was slightly too long to fit.
-Tappet plate sanded so that air nozzle seals better with bucking.
-Air nozzle tip beveled slightly to seal with bucking better.
-Custom quick spring change added to gearbox, spring can be changed in under 5 minutes.
-Inner barrel stabilized within outer barrel.
-Fuse removed
I stand behind every gun I sell, if you have any trouble with it anytime soon, let me know and we'll figure somethign out. Out of the 4 guns that I've sold over the past 4 years, no one has had any trouble that I'm aware of.
Yay! Pictures!
