All airborne forces at REFORGER must bring a helmet of some kind due to a change in game play.
Both sides will be “blind dropped” behind enemy lines at some point during the game, while in the C-130 / AN-12 colt troops must have a helmet on there head during transport.

All I have is a bicycle helmet and those stupid steel pots one from WW2 and one from Vietnam

ok this is MILSIM not come as you are.
WWII steel pots give you vastly more protection that a civy bike hat.
please take that into thought.

ok this is MILSIM not come as you are. WWII steel pots give you vastly more protection that a civy bike hat. please take that into thought. interesting... I hadn't read any direct call outs that this is a milsim OP until now. I'm assuming this is mid-cap only then too? This may change the landscape slightly on who is attending. |

Fine I'll use the Vietnam steel pot but it's missing the strap and the little elastic band that keeps the helmet cover in place do you happen to have those

i have about 200 chin straps and 500 elastic bands on hand (NEW unissued).

again only airborne / air asslt forces MUST have helmets, and only MUST have helmets during transport. others dont need one.

REFORGER special missions
For reforger there will be several special missions carried out by most units
SF units (GSG9-SPETZ) will be allowed to do special missions only known to them….
Airborne, air asslt, and air landing troops will have special missions and be deployed in a special manner.
Ground troops will have special missions and assets.
This will be more milsim than you see in the vast majority of operations.

i would LOVE to jump out of a C-130. i got to fly in one not to long ago. i should be able to make it. il check calender for the 21st and see if anything is for rotc.
on another note, how much is one of those like 30 lbs helmets that i used at shattered skies?

felt llke it was 30 lbs, i beleive it was from one of the WW. heavy pot. but he et me borrow for the day, very nice of him. hahah
