Did anyone else hear about these google glasses? They're apparently called "google glass". Theyre pretty much a smart phone in a pair of glasses. Look it up. It's pretty cool. The first pairs are supposed to come out next year with a price tag of $1500. Hopefully that will drop as they perfect them.

I think it would be much nicer to see it as a bluetooth or microUSB attachment for android devices, but I don't know what specs the hardware has to have. Also probably more novelty than use for the next 5 years. I saw an early concept of it, so I don't know how much the idea has changed.
Sorry if duplicated, phone was acting up.

It's not a smartphone in a pair of glasses, it's esentially a glorified 1 inch monitor brought up to eye level, with a bluetooth device enabled in it, so you still need a phone in your pocket as a processor.
Device exists already, as landwarrior.

They are supposed to overlay a HUD onto reality. That'd be nice.
