I think that we should make a video of Dave's safety briefing, along with demonstrations that we film in an actual game scenario so they aren't just demonstrated out of play. This will have a link here on the forums that way people can view the more detailed briefing prior to going to the field. This will just help with the safety.
Dave's speeches make sense to me but I think newer or younger players sometimes just don't listen and assume things. I've been lit up at less than 20 feet during a match and I've seen this and similar unsafe things happen to others. I just think if people are inviting someone they can have them watch the video to learn before they come. What do you think guys? I'll film it myself if needed.

Sounds good. I was thinking listing safety requirements then also demonstrating safety kills, minimum engagement, how to handle a problem (talk to OC), trigger safety, and the like.

This is a great idea! I would very much like to see this happen, my only input (at the moment) would be to keep the "comedy" to an absolute minimum. As a parent of a young player, seeing a safety video that is more of a joke than actually trying to emphasize how important the safety rules are would be a huge deterrent.

On another side note of video lessons I've been planning on making some tactical training videos for newer players if anyones intetested in helping with those.

foggy. i 100% agree with you.
over the last 2 months or so its started to get a little out of hand and i have had to stop the breiffings all together to let some people get the giggles out of there system.
think of it this way if you guys think its nerv racking playing a game try to think of yourself as the field safety and nee how nerv racking that is.

Rabit: I wa actually gonna suggest those if this one turns out well.
Guys do the video without me, closest game I'll be going to is Market Garden, and I feel it should be done sooner. Rabit, I'll help out with the infantry training videos. In those, we could do a video (of comedic effect) about tactical DO NOT'S. But for the safety one, no humor.
