Arrival: I got there early and helped Dave clean up some stuff and build onto the GW. People started arriving so we headed back to the store to have a quick safety briefing for the ten players that were there.
Game 1: We split into to teams for a 5 vs 5 Team Deathmatch. It was myself, Gadget, Spark, Sparks friend, and 1 other player who's name a forget (my bad) against Goober and 4 new players to the field. I was in command of my squad and everyone did awesome. We pushed through the new area of hedgerows hard and got the oppossing team stuck in a bunker. I ended up getting 6 kills and 1 death. Our team won the first round.
Game 2: We switched sides and had another team deathmatch. The other team did a lot better the second game and actually had us pinned down at the back of the hedgerows for a while. I got 2 safety kills and a grenade kill which helped the rest of our squad push forward. I ended up running out of ammo and having to use my pistol the rest of the round so the rest of my squad kind of ended the round for us with me just calling out targets. Goober was outnumbered 5 to 1 and we won Game 2.
Game 3: The group of 4 new players had to leave which left us with 6 so we moved into the village for a 3 v 3 team deathmatch, 3 respawns each. It was myself, Goober, and Gadget for this round. Goober and Gadget pushed up the field fast while I manuveured through the buildings. I picked up 3 kills and our team held a defensive line about 40 yards back from the enemy spawn. Gadget get injured leaving just me and Goober so we spread out a little more. I moved around to get a better angle and took out a lookout in the tower. Goober got the final kill and we won round 3.
All around it was a great day and I had a blast. Thanks to everyone who came and Dave for letting us play.
