I've seen a lot of WWII and Vietnam era things, but have yet to see anything WWI related. So here's what a couple friends and I came up with:
Teams:
TAN: British, French, American
GREEN: German
Weapons:
For most, the standard weapon should be either bolt-action or semi-auto, because full bolt-action would be tough to execute. However, a few support guns could be used here and there, depending on the battle.
1.) The Battle of Mons:
The British Forces must defend the town from the Germans, who deploy generally to the south. The Germans have a respawn time advantage of some kind (because in reality they had a numerical advantage), but the British get some extra time to set up a defense (because in reality they had dug in and the Germans attacked them).
1.5.) The First Battle of the Marne: No ideas here. Somebody help me on this.
2.) The Battle of Verdun:
The Germans must attack the French (who are in the north) from the South in the trenches. I haven't really come up with any other stuff about this battle, aside from it should be considerably long.
3.) The Battle of the Somme:
The British attack the Germans from the East. To put it in perspective, the British are coming from the town. This should generally be an "Over-the-top" kind of attack, but a few things here and there could be changed.
4.) The Battle of Passchendaele (or the 3rd battle of Ypres):
The Germans defend the town from the attacking British, who are coming from the north (hedgerows). In the real battle, the Allies were bogged down by the extensive rain and mud, so something could be done to equate to that.
5.) The Battle of Reims (or Second Battle of the Marne):
The Germans attack the town from the West/Southwest. However, that might not work well because a major Allied counter-attack happened later, pushing the Germans back across the river.
And that's about it. This is open for change.
