The 6th is fast coming on us everyone. If your going to be going make sure you got your travel and lodging taken care of. Still got about two weeks but always good to be on the ball with these things. My patch guy feel through so my havoc squad patches will not be making unfortunately, which bums me out a bit as I was hoping to see some Havoc patches marching in the game. No matter the Republic will prevail and I will have my charge at some point. Got to work on my speech though...lol

Alright people the big event is this Saturday. Get your lightsabers ready and check your blasters because on Saturday we fight for Alderaan. I'll either charge with you to fight for freedom, or towards you in order to stop your tyrannical ways. I've been looking forward to this OP just about all year and I expect it to be the most epic OP possible in this galaxy.
For those of you not coming to this awesome event...shame on you. But I will do my best to get some pictures of myself and Havoc Squad. I'm sure Geddon will have some pictures as well and I'll do my best to link them here as well. Happy hunting to all going and may the force be with us.

Im actually gonna try to manage a couple hours of video as i was able to find my long lost Flip camera.
Todd, are you still bringing extra pool noodles?

I was not able to make extra like I wanted to unfortunately. I may have some extra pvc pip and connectors to bring but I have been unable to find noodles now. I will do some last minute looking tomorrow and at least bring materiel to make some extra on the fly if need be. I used a saw to cut mine in half, if you have something better bring that and we can cut some if need be.
What time will the gate open and the game start? I get to skip Chrono for once woot, so I can work on getting with the other Jedi at that time.

gates open 7-30ish
9AM is safety brief. be ready to play at at briefing at 9am.
When you come through the gates, drive straight down the main road all the way around the bend (to the right) and our private staging is near the end of that road on the right. You'll see us.
I'll be there Friday evening.

I'm driving down Friday as well, but won't get there until about 11 PM ish. I'll do my best to get there early so I can look the place over before the game and start getting myself outfitted. I'm going to bring my custom light sabers as well for the briefing so I can have a nice cool look before the game.
I've been practicing the speech from the Hope intro video so I can use it at some point in the game. One way or another I'm going to have a Republic charge after an all out cry of FOR THE REPUBLIC!

Fox, sorry but I'm not gonna be able to make it for Havoc squad - I hurt my back this week, and since I don't get time off work I really can't afford to hurt it more or make it worse playing airsoft =/

awesome let me know when that is done because the people in my office are bug fans of the song and would enjoy seeing me do the dance on the bridge like that. I hope the music can be heard in the video.
If anyone has not checked out the videos you really should. This event had so many people filming and taking pictures it was crazy. Just about every moment has some kind of media coverage on it which is just great.
Looking forward to the Survivor now, going to have to play some Left 4 Dead to get in the skill set. Maybe bring something to play some Electric Worry from clutch just to make the scene seem more dynamic.
