Wow...hmm.
Well i guess they are doing all that to "compete" with Modern Warfare....but man they took it to a level i didnt think they would...dunno this looks like a desperate attempt to get on MWs level.

Holy crap I might actually play that. About freaking time they went futuristic - modern warfare has been done to death in video games by now, they need a change of scenery. Can't wait for the next Battlefield 2142 game

Zombies is the only thing I play in Black Ops, the regular multiplayer and single player stuff just didn't seem fun. Too much of a "been there done that" feeling. The single player story was pretty cool, but the gameplay in between the cut scenes sucked.
And YES! Halo for the win! Halo: Combat Evolved was the last time I actually enjoyed a single player campaign for more than 3 minutes.

Halo is also console-only, and I'm a computer gamer.
Yes, I know Halo 1 and 2 were available on the PC, but I have played them to death already, lol.

Most of the games I enjoy can't be played on a console - RTS's and.... actually I don't know what games like Freelancer and X3 count as... Hmm. But the list of FPS's I like is actually pretty short, and those are much better on a PC anyway with keyboard/mouse, and most RPG's are... eh. I use an emulator for PSX games when I want to dig out an RPG, lol. Also, cheap is relative - Like you, I build my own PC's, and I've gotten quite good at building them on a budget, lol. Plus, you can't overclock a console, or run servers from it, or use 3rd party voice chat (teamspeak, ventrilo), or mod your games.

Yup, PC is the best. I guess I failed to mention that I was referring to the PC versions of those games. Keyboard + mouse > controller.

I do miss mechwarrior games. Brings back memories Caliban. My personal favorite was the Summoner or Thor depending on inner sphere or clan name.

Cmon i thought yall would be behind the idea of, soldiers non-dependent on technology, combating stolen tech, old school style.
The jist is, our lazy army got its toys stolen, now we fight the people who stole them, LIKE MEN.
