January 20, 2007
That is the day that this team was born, it was around a month before when the possibility of Waco's first Airsoft team was just a thought in the back of our minds.
December 30, 2006 [OP: Fallen Fortress]
SwitchBlade, Noble, and I (Neo) were planning to attend this OP for the first time (playing Airsoft). Everything was great except for the fact that I was the only one without any gear and without an Airsoft weapon. At that time i didn't have sufficient funds to get a decent weapon for the OP so in the end I could not participate in it. SwitchBlade and Noble did attend the OP.
January 1-5, 2007
At around this time I talked to a good friend of mine about Airsoft and persuaded him to join the soon-to-be-formed team and fight alongside us. He goes by the name Coolbullet. I ordered both his gun and my own at the same time along with the gear we could afford.
January 6-10, 2007
SwitchBlade, Noble, CoolBullet and I all meet up at SB's house to shoot some cans (and each other) for the afternoon, so as to get acquainted with are newly acquired weapons. before the night was over SwitchBlade and I were discussing the possibility of turning ourselves into a real, no BS, professional (as much as a bunch of kids from high school could) team. I went home with one thought in my mind...
January 11-17, 2007
I came home from school everyday and I started planning out the beginning of what I thought a team should have before they can become a "team". I asked my team members what should our team name be? What should our logo/patch look like or say? I drew up and wrote different ideas of what it could be....but i couldn't figure anything out...
January 18-20, 2007
I was beginning to think to myself that maybe I took on more that I could chew, name creation, logo/patch design and motto, training courses, etc. I was overwhelmed to say the least. But out of nowhere I came to a conclusion for the patch design and motto. I thought to myself what is one animal that can be fierce alone and even more dangerous when it is with it's pack? The Wolf. Not only is it fierce, but it's also a very clever and agile creature. For the name of the team I decided that we should represent our town, that we should be proud of it not only that it seemed that Airsoft had not yet hit hard around Waco, there were no teams to be heard of... hence Waco's F.A.S.T. (First Airsoft Strike Team) or [First Air Soft Team or First Assault Strike Team those were the other options I thought of] not long after I did that I thought of a quick and to the point motto to put on the patch. Shoot to Kill, Always.
With a 4 man team, we decided to train and prepare ourselves for the fights ahead. The 4 members in order of rank and/or are as follows: SwitchBlade [Commanding Office]r (Co-Founder), Neo [Executive Officer] (Founder), Noble, (First Member), and CoolBullet (Second Member) Solid (Third Member).
April 28, 2007 [OP: Urgent Fury]
We attend our first OP as a complete team. We met great people and had a blast.
February 2, 2008 [TTE: North Wind]
The guys of T.E.A.R.S. were impressed by our team that they were gracious enough to invite us to one of their Training Evolutions. They have TTE's so that the members of their team stay fresh and up to date to any changes in combat movement, communication, and combat tactics. It's pretty much like their version of a refresher course. It is for members of their team ONLY. We got lucky and they were cool enough to invite us. We as a team learned lots of great information that would benefit our team. Invaluable information guys thanks! We brought a new team member with us because SwitchBlade was in the Marine Corps. The new team member goes by Solid. Thanks again T.E.A.R.S.!
April 26, 2008 [OP: Urgent Fury 2]
With SW still away in the Marine Corps, CoolBullet, Noble, Solid, and I go and attend UF2. Great time once again, T.E.A.R.S. really knows how to host an OP props to them. The only strange thig is the Tan team was over-shadowed by the humongous Green team. No harm done though, we all had a great time.
That would be a list of everything that has happened regarding the Team's progression through OP's and the team's history.
I would like to thank T.E.A.R.S., Lonestar Airsoft, and all the other people we have met and will meet in the future for all the help you have given us.
April 10, 2010 [OP: Red Tide]
First major OP since 2008, this one at Kookaburra Hill (or Temple Airsoft Field) was a good one. It was myself and CoolBullet; T.E.A.R.S. was also present for this OP along with the Texas A&M team. Excellent field and village, great people. Solid and Noble have been inactive since 2008 so for the record...they are now terminated from the team.
August 28, 2010
I came down the the Temple Airsoft Field or "Kookaburra Field" after a good 4 month absence of Airsoft. All in all I met and battled some good guys out there. But at the end of the day I met and made a good friend and the newest member of the team, Heinous. Lets see what kind of nonsense we can get into....
