To the community here in Central Texas,
As a neutral party, I asked for a standard nameline from Greywolf and got a negative response, the Third Coast Airsoft Council has passed a motion regarding a request for proof of service, Jeff's response was negative. However, the Council has given till 5 JUNE as a suspense date.

here is his 214 from the pownetwork.org
it shows a "soldier" that after 8 years was still a PFC in the national guard (svc btry 132nd arty)....
no deployments
no UN service
no going to Bosnia as a hero
no scuba school
no para rescue
no retiring from the service
no drive
no jungle school
no ranger
no SF
no awards earned
no schools (civilian or military)
he was not even qualified to drive a hummer
or lead a latrine cleaning detail.
what it does show isssss
a guy that can just barley qualify with a weapon (m-16)
a guy that had UCMJ action at LEAST once (after 8 years its just about mandatory to be a E-4)
shown that there was probably a court martial but is sealed.
ask any NCO or officer about this type of 214 and they will all probably say the same thing, DUD
here is something to think about, at the end of your service you in most cases MUST get a ETS award for your service (AAM or better). in most cases that i have seen the only time you don't get one is if you are in jail or have a 06 stop it. well that would match his criminal records, again my opinion.
but that's my opinion.
people have been asking for proof, well here it is.

been up drinking coffee and started reading this and got pulled in wasnt going to post but WOW!!but heres my 5 cents just going by what he saying he went into the marines 4th recon in texas prior to 1992?when the were still in hawaii their a reserve unit you have to live in that state whinch is one state he did not go to school in.I Just saying no matter what you did in the MARINE CORPS if you earn the EAGLE, GLOBE and ANCHOR be proud because few have done so!If you DID NOT DONT CLAM TO HAVE ,THIS IS A DISRESPECTFULL TO ALL THAT HAVE HAD AND SHED THEIR BLOOD TO UPHOLD OUR HONOUR!SEMPER FIDELIS.And wacth the vid of him and got to say I dont like to bash people but Bro! your a little out of shape!hey I had have weight issues myself me and dave have chated about this and it was 10yrs after I got out of the Marines.I dont like to take sides and was not there when the incident went down.But I feel dave is doing a good Job out in temple waisting his money so we can have a good time thanks dave.and this is for MR. well i have been banned from houston airsoft.....
i will ask nice for a rep from the Houston community to please pm me with the reason why they did this just at the time that mr schnoors 214 came out to be. they don't want to talk about it and have locked the threads about it.
they did this even tho they have this on there home page....

postal, about the weight.... the issue is that he was telling people he was still in the military till jan this year (check out the facebook post about being promoted to full col)...
and i checked with the 4th marines in san antonio, the S1 did a FULL search after seeing the video.... no trace of him in any manning roster going back 20+ years.

thanks dave you got where I was going with that.I dont like to get involve in this type of stuff but since theres very few of us Marines into airsoft so I figure I should post some input.I repliead to Greywolfs post awhile back about being in the CORPS for 4 years and wasvery happy to see another marine in the sport but after that was not able to get on the fourm so couldnt tell you what happen.If hes a fellow devil dog I will not post anymore in this matter and Just have to say about the being hit in the face issue this happens in airsoft or paintball even with full protection you can and will get hit.I had my lip busted by a paintball with afull mask on and went on playing.If I didnt like gettin hit I would be playing the other milsim laser tag.Are brothers and sisters are giving their lives up for real so we can play a fun sport.everyone have a good day AND DONT FORGET ARE FALEN

i dont nor have i ever wanted to feel "good" about this whole thing.
the more i have dug the sicker i have got when i learned everything (not released yet).
the community in texas has to learn from this, and sticking your head in a hole will only allow this to happen again.
thanks for all the calls i have got today from all parts of texas. people have woken up and are seeing what went on and are getting mad now.
its not allways the crime that will get you in trouble, but trying to cover it up allways will.

Ok boys, if, after the deadline, you are going to make a statement and lay out the facts and details bout this mess, then fine,
but I think we all here need the details posted so we know what is coming.
SE-TAC intends to post the facts of what has transpired in a neutral way. We do this out of respect to our community and others in Texas for everyone is on the same page and know all of the same facts about what happened, not just bits and pieces.
Taso will be destroyed by this episode and another entity will need to fill the void on safety
Work up a site for all Forum admin to be able to meet online for propper communications on issues that need to be corrected.

I am with you zmonster I what to post this on A all Marine fb page or 2 or 3.but this well be a bad blow for airsoft the you tube vid already did this.
The survial of the sport hinges on getting more prior military and law enforcement personal envolved/
And I have to say dave is giving it hes best effort to acheive this

Torres cuz he help this x-mas to my nephiews that my brother went down in iraq the past weeks n he help my sister in law family n 2 more familes paying from his own pocket 14,000 dollars to sent the bodies to our natal country n giving xmas gifts to the childrens that all that 3 guys leaving with out of father.n thanks to Fox HOUND team that is supportin n helping with some items that he need now...god bless u Torres,fox hound n all the airsoft community"

The idea is not to further divide the airsoft community, if this whole event has shown us anything is how we should be closer in communication to give people like Torres and Jeff no room to continue faking.
Have communities in the past backed the wrong horse, mistreated others? Sure, that is common to all airsoft communities.
Lets stay on the high ground and build the hobby, rather than divide, SE-TAC and others are cleaning house,
Otherwise, its back to backyard airsofting and being a fringe hobby.

Remember the South Texas TASO Director is Mike "Doc" Govan, who is also the 2d Group 1st SFAOC CO, and a Council Member on Third Coast.
He has yet to be contacted by any other TASO Board Member on the matter, he is fully aware of the issue though.

Torres was banned from SETAC about a year ago and promptly dissappeared.
So much for those accusations.

He was vetted as a corpral in the USMC.by retired Commander Brian Klock NCIS. I do not know all of the details.
