i do know this, people FAILED at bringing an adequate amount of water for themselves to OP: Aftermath.
This is unacceptable. People walking around asking me if i had water. Where is YOUR water? Airsoft has long standing rules about bringing water to games and not expecting others to bring it for you.
I will harp on this much harder next game.

Geddon.. My team has been thinking of implementing having water at games.. For example, it takes 10 minutes to respawn.. If you have some sort of water on you (CamelBak, Canteen) it gets cut down to 5 mins.. If you have the container and no water, you can go get some water within the 10 mins of your respawn...

you've always been able to leave the field and get water, etc. You're not "locked in"

The having water on you and cutting down the re-spawn timer does sound like a way to make sure people have water and bring enough of it. We just have to make sure they drink it after that lol. I saw this done at another style of game and it worked out really well with having everyone always hydrated and no worries about overheating.
To make sure it does not mess up the re-spawn timers already in place if you wish to keep them there just increase it to 25 minutes and back to the normal 20 minutes if you have water. Then all the other little things kick in like stims and chems as normal.

Beneficial game mechanics, that parallel something REAL and beneficial? that sounds awesome. water could be a stim-pack IV, that you can use to respawn faster at the hospital

Can i come dressed up as Deadpool ?? Nah but i completely agree with all the factions. Except that it might be better if we lean toward that of "New Vegas" were the "Legion" would be the "Phalanx Corps"( yes Phalanx is a word ) and the " NCR' would be the "KAF" (Kookaburra Armed Forces). So what do you all think?.
(P.S if we could not do this because of legal issues or this idea is just beating dead horse, then you have my apologies.)

Ok, I don't know if anybody's going to see this, but here goes: I had a stroke of possible brilliance a few minutes ago. Last year I brought a boombox and a Fallout playlist, and kept the town square full of music last year. On a related note, I've lately gotten into playing guitar and singing, and I've discovered that a few songs in Fallout (especially New Vegas) are easily playable. Here's the idea: I have a guitar, and I wander around and play a few songs. There are two subsequent quest ideas from this: 1) I can also bring an amp (it's the size of a lunchbox, no joke), and there could be some quest about getting either a part for a generator, or fixing a power line, or something along those lines so that I can play somewhere in town. 2) During a quest in New Vegas, The Lonesome Drifter (the character this idea is modelled after) gives you "The Mysterious Magnum" that plays this sound clip www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYob7ThemoU when drawn. I don't know how feasible that is, but at least a revolver reward would be cool. 3) I could otherwise wander the field (the non-super mutant part, anyhow) and play at random areas. I'm not old enough to be an admin, but I'm more than happy to play an NPC style role. It would be amazing to do something like this. I don't know how a duster and all would fit in if the Regulators are in the game, so I may wear a Vault Suit.

the lawbringers will wear "western" clothes so, a Duster wont look out of place.
I think this is a cool idea, man. I had planned on having this type of "quest" or "mission" in the game.
Let me see how i can work it in.

Let me see how i can work it in. Sweet! Only thing being that dusters look really western... Whatever. This can be straightened out later. Anyhow, I discovered something cool: you can run a guitar amp on a car batter- I mean, on a "fusion battery." The specs are still in the works right now, because if the numbers are off a bit, it can blow out the amp, or just plain not work at all. Either way, though, if at least one of these "special fusion batteries" is out there, they could return it, and voila!

I'm having a hard time navigating through Airsoft Event website for anything aftermath related. Can we get a link to the big news so I can save the link and use it to check on information.

I don't know how a duster and all would fit in if the Regulators are in the game, so I may wear a Vault Suit. So...I didn't fully think this through. I may also need to acquire a guitar that is disposable, because I doubt it would look and sound good once it's all over, let alone survive being hit by a BB. I mean this guy (in the link) shot the guitar with maybe a few clips from his pistol at the most. This is more fragility than I thought about. www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=mTu4U_iyFr4However, the part about the amp should still be feasible. A disposable one of those would be nice, if I can find one, but it's still good to go as well. A quick question about lock boxes, though: what about locks with codes? I mean, this could be where lockpicking comes in. Maybe the coded locks could have a strip of tape or something on the back with the code and the requirements to pick the lock? Or, for lockboxes, the code could be a lootable item from the person, much like a key. I would assume that even if the coded lockboxes could be opened through lockpicking, they would have ungodly requirements, so that way your stuff is generally safe. Further questions: should the Lonesome Drifter idea come to fruition, how will that work out as a quest? any karma gains? Hole punches? Any larger reward than some caps and a revolver?
