There is no set price for a repair, repairs can either be really cheap, or really expensive, depending on whats wrong.
You need to give a description of whats wrong, (IE weird noises, nothing happening at all, grinding noise, scraping, battery getting hot, etc, etc) and the make and model of the gun. Or just have someone look at it at the field.

Rule #1: If your gun isn't firing, don't hold the trigger. This is very, very, important, especially if you don't have a fuse.
Does it only heat up when you pull the trigger or as soon as you plug the battery in? If its the former, then the gearbox is locked up, if its the latter, there is a short in your wiring somewhere.

Did you mess with the motor height adjustment screw on the bottom of the handgrip? Tightening it to much can cause a lockup, but if not then the gearbox itself is probably locked up. It could very well be just a random lockup for seemingly no reason, or something could also be broken. The only way to find out is to take it apart.

Be aware that Dave requires that you talk with him first before offereing repair services over the forums due to past problems with a "repair guy".

This is true. Not many people, that i know of, have dave's approval when it comes to fixin' guns at the field. Poo and I being some of the very few.

Granted I don't do repairs often as much anymore, I will help out if I have time or for the few that I tell personally that I will repair. But feel free to come up or Pm with any help if you need. I know there is one person that I have to finish building for that lives out past College station. But again feel free to ask if you need any help from me. I will try to help out as best I can. I'm sure others will do the same.
