I'm out. Couple guys had personal things come up, so they wouldn't be able to attend, and I'm officially burnt out trying to form a team. Redirecting my focus and efforts on the "airsoft infantry school" I'm setting up in May.

We wanted to come up for this but its the weekend in the MIDDLE OF FINALS. Yeah sorry that pretty much killed it for us once we realized the conflict.

I'll be coming out help out were need be in terms of set-up, take-down, and any additional help needed for admin needs and what not. Maybe next year I'll be ready to go but I want more experience for myself before I think about doing something like this.

So how many teams are competing on Saturday? I'm wanting to come out to see how the tourney works and to experience the field. But it seems that theres not a lot of teams (based on this thread). Are spectators allowed? Will I be asked to pay the field fee just to spectate?
Also, I haven't been able to make it out to the Temple field yet, so looking forward to experiencing the field! Will there be skirmishes at all on Sat? What's the field fee?

Just to spectate, there should be no field fee but a safety waiver still has to be signed. Yes, there will be skirmishes in the morning and again after the ACA matches. Field fee is $20 for the whole day. There should be at least 5 teams. |

My friend and I are planing on going but it is only us 2 (maybe 1 more) but we don't have a team will we get put on a team that doesn't have 5 either? We can combine to make five.

There may be options for quick teams depending on how things go and what the official word is on something like that. There is a lot to set up for a team, one being uniforms and also setting up who is leader and who is what class.
Like Bacon said we will have some normal skirmishing around the tournament so you should get some game time even if it is not ACA style. Depending on how things work might be able to do some kind of large force on force ACA inspired match with the tower shooting and such. We will find out tomorrow I bet.
I would say bring your gear as always and if you want to really try and jump on team bring as many different types of camo as you think might be run and different shirts too.

due to some teams dropping out in the last 24hrs we are going to have a normal skirmish tomorrow 20.00
gates open at 0900
game starts at 1000
we will have a ACA test match for all the ACA teams that show up just after lunch. this will let everyone play and have a ACA match to try and promote it for next year.
the ACA cost will be only 20.00 with the winning team getting there name on a trophy.
