Hey I'm not sure if it's been brought up, but if there was cover for advancing from the trenches to the town it'd be much appreciated. At Reforger the squad I was with was ordered to move up to the town from the trenches so it was us 5 plus 2 civvies behind this 1 little crate (if you can imagine it didn't work so well). if Dave has the materials to add some cover and you guys would be willing to work I think it would help a lot, especially with big Ops. I'll help when I can, but I live far away so it would have to be a day I plan on attending to actually play as well

Not sure if possible... Considering there's a service road that divides the trenches from the town. Guess it's up to Dave tho However there is already technically "cover," you have to cross into to the wooded area at the end of the trenches to reach the "SCUD site," and from there you can cross into the back of the town.

I don't know, I've never had a problem attacking from the trenches into the town. The other way is a bit more difficult, but not impossible. I like the way the trenches are hard to attack though. I don't think it should be easy to get to them, because that's not what they are meant to do.

I wasn't saying a bunch, just maybe some of the old unused boxes unless you got rid of them Dave.

I remember being pinned behind that crate ( i was FUF in almost hillcrest uniform) and man, it was harsh. If you moved you were shot, end of story. But maybe cutting some of the wire in those wooded areas would be cool since that would offer a place to cross.

Ok well if 7 people are crowded behind a crate that's nothing to do with the field, you shouldn't get yourself into situations like that. Next time I suggest leaving several back in the trenches to fire at the guys in the town (it's not too far), sending one or two to the bushy area where they can just hop the fence, and having one person at the crate or two max.
I'm not saying this to criticize, just pointing out that it's really not an impossible task to assault it, and I like the way it is because it keeps the crossing there as a sort of beachhead or something, which makes it more epic if you take it and forces you to come up with interesting strategies.

We had like four or five up there with the rest back but I see why you mean. More support and move in smaller groups.

yea, idk why we bunched up and were like (WE CANT MOVE) we should have actually thought about it lol. But the guys i was stuck with were pretty cool and I dont remember if they were gunned down, because when i saw a chance i sprinted to one of the box type buildings where one of my buddies were.

You have a point. It was the game where the Russians would spawn right where they died so we couldn't move up like we had intended
