Very fun day, tons of fun, and one of the most balanced RISK games I've seen (now totalling 2, haha). But apparently it's unusual for games to stalemate like that first one did, kudos to everyone who made that happen (meaning everyone that played today)

Always worth the drive. And I didnt even play today. My guys had fun and it was interesting to see through the eyes as a safety. Yeah, I was the guy in the red expendable shirt. Im already looking forward to our next trip up to Temple.

Risk V was awesome as expected ;D Though i didn't have the pleasure of meeting mugensamurai to trade with the cranestock, but did get to meet Rabit and Mr. Poo  (i was the guy with the ak74, tan team, od green shirt and jeans.) |

Had an awesome time with my team even though I knew most of them already. Nice to meet Mr. Poo finally. Racked up 15 kills with my brand new M14 EBR, 10 kills with my custom M4, and even got a triple kill with one grenade. Today was great.

I had agreat time as well, like Mr. Poo said, put more new names with faces. Everyone played well together. Lost count of how many times I heard compliments like "nice shot!" from the person getting shot! Lot of courtesy and professionalism out there! hat a great community!

I had a great time took some time to get used to the single community respond point in the middle of the field but it made it even better. I wasn't expecting to use my pistol but I left my l96 and the flag to go respond but when I came back the flag was took so I ended up liking it so I used only a pistol all day witch made a fun challenge
Oh yeah and I got a few super low quality pics- non HD

Maybe if you stuck out more than just your big nose for me to shoot I wouldn't have shot it Hahaha it was good times though - I don't think any one walked away unhappy this game, which is the hallmark of a great field. Seriously, You guys are great. I love playing at Dave's field... Squirrel - I didn't realize that was you in the red shirt, but it makes sense now, since you were mentioning your other guys, and how they weren't there, and now I remember that you said a few weeks ago that it would be only you and not your guys. Dang, it should have clicked, I feel dumb now, lol. I was the guy in the German Rain green camo, black team captain, and I stood and chatted with you and dave during that last green vs tan game. You gave me some ideas just from listening, in case I ever form a team. |

Oh, and whoever was taking pictures near the town during the afternoon game - Man, I am really sorry I shot you, I swear it looked like you drew a pistol on me. Turns out it was your camera! I didn't hit it, did i?  I tried to aim for the body since you were out in the open. You happened to be doing that right after we had several red team members take a flag or two by simply walking up to it and switching it, so I thought it was another hostile trying the same walking calmly trick. At least after that you had a dead rag on your head so it didn't happen again  |

Great game today! Good players, good fun. All in all I'd say it was one of the best games we've had. I have the first hour and a half or so on camera...from my perspective.

afew things....
1. no hit calling, no shrugging issues, no one went home mad.
2. everyone expended nearly every pellet they had and most bats were going dead by the end of the day, that's great!!!!
3. the regular players stepped up and took charge and helped the younger players, thanks
4. total players 60, with at least 10 new players, great numbers. keep in mind that was without many of the normal teams that had other things going on and only 10 hill crest players. that's great and shows what a great community we have.
cons....
1. please clean up your trash, i filled up a trash bag after everyone left and there is another to be picked up when i go back out.
2. safety violations, total was 3 (eye-pro 2 times but was less than 10 sec per violation) (1 mag was found in a weapon after a game) please everyone you are a safety officer also.
3. quit killing my crono, we found that we had a hot gun on the field at the crono station, the bad thing is that it blew apart the crono. i would rather that you put a hole in my crono than a player. good catch crono team.
one of the best games out there, the games are getting better and better. thanks everyone.

There were a couple others shooting video besides Mortair and me. I'm Kyle Knox. I only put photos on the group page, I'll post a vid there that's edited to be shorter with all the interesting stuff!

Also, even if I could have recorded, my vid would be super boring - I spent most of both matches standing in one place and playing traffic controller, lol. Though the second game, it was a great view from up in the tower, I think I could see about 60% of the field from where I was. There were a lotta epic battles going on all over the field.
