  MORE PICS: s1224.photobucket.com/albums/ee370/Exulis/This is an almost new in box STAR FN FNC with trademarks, all the way from Hong Kong. I have put maybe 800 rounds through it plinking in the backyard, but the gun has never been skirmished with. You will be hardpressed to find a gun with nicer externals, this thing is made almost entirely of steel and aluminum, only the lower receiver is die-cast. The folding stock is rock solid, the interlocking parts are steel. It really kills me to let this thing go, because unless another company decides to produce an affordable FNC, I'll probably never get another one. PLEASE PM ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE GUN, I did several hours of research before I bought this thing so I know pretty much everything there is to know. FPS: 340-350 with .2 bbs. FUNCTIONAL THREE ROUND BURST Range: Out there, 150-200 feet, this thing has a great hop-up. What you get: The gun, original box, and the mid-cap that came with it. cons no parts in the US
cons upgrades are hard to do
cons you can be fined or go to jail for selling it in the US
cons 3 round burst can burn out

Other things you said are true though. The gearbox takes standard version 2/3 gears but the other parts are proprietary. A version 3 gearbox can be fitted into this gun if you have the desire and know how (I don't). |

FN is coming down on people selling the scar, P-90, FNC, or any other newer FN product that is not sold via cybergun. next they are going after the M-249. jag / Echo-1 out of California is being hammered by FN right now with a bunch of law suits, that they have all lost.
it no longer maters if the gun has trades or not the courts have ruled that just the look and design of it is patten-ed making importing a star replica against the law.
i have to deal with it all the time and there are people here in Texas that may still be facing jail time over importing G-36s.
HK, S&W, GLOCK, and FN are all clamping down and have no problem going after people now that the courts have ruled in there favor.

I'm not trying to deceive anyone here. VFC and ICS were supposed to make them but I guess those projects got cancelled, maybe because of the problems with FN that dave just informed me of. |

yes others were to make the fnc but found out they could not get them into the country.
customs is coming down hard on airsoft guns right now, one member of this forum had his SVD stuck in customs for a loooong time making sure it didnt break any import laws.
again the FNC is a good gun and its a nice price

I think one of the main reasons you are getting so much flak other than what was stated is that you are still relatively new to the forums. You did post a WTS thread with only 2 posts and no real introduction made.
But I would like to know what kind of actual Gearbox it actually uses, been looking for something to drop a Polar star fusion engine kit into.

im not giving him any flack just stating a fact about the gun, on the other hand it uses a M-16 gear box so it should be a easy swap. on the other hand like i said all the external upgrades (RIS, and handguards) are hard to find and pricy like most FN items, but you can get some items out of china.

I've lurked around here for awhile, I don't live in Texas I just have some relatives in Temple so I wanted to keep an eye on when games are and stuff so I can hopefully come by when I visit the relatives.

If gun companies are mad because companies are selling theyre guns like p-90 and scar, then why not just get them to stop making your gun, then start making it and selling it for the same price as them and reap the reward, just saying they need to think before they do, i could have just earned them loads of money  but would lower the want of the Real firearm. |

they dont want the lower end companies making the replica (d-boys, AEG, etc...) they only want the high end cos making the replicas so they dont get POS replicas to give the real gun a bad rep.
