So, I was just thinking...a huge part of Fallout, newer and older ones alike, is the music. How awesome would it be if somebody got some big playlist of music from the games (plus other swing music) and had it playing through the op? If anybody has the means, I have the mp3's. These include some not added, some that sounded good, and one that is an awesome conclusion. Sample of this awesome conclusion here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VGDnqCV53w

Or you could slap some kind of speaker on your vest and play your own it would give you away but it would work

i had considered trying to figure out adding the GNR mission concept to the game, but was feeling like it might be overzealous. Honestly, i have so much on my plate to just get what is planned up and running
Maybe next year we can set the world on fire.... or not? depends on what you really want.

Dave does have plans to have speakers in the town for sound FX and or music, no clue when it will happen though

Maybe put the songs on CDs and put some radios throughout the town or if we could just put a big speaker in the town on the two story building if we had to.

i would greatly encourage anyone to bring a personal stereo and simply play the music in their respective areas.
It would be great for the role play... especially if we could get some president eden recordings going around blasting enclave / patriotic propaganda

Those are definitely out there. I've seen many download places for the enclave loop. Whenever we do Aftermath again(I'm confident it'll happen again), hopefully the PA system will be working by then.
Until then, my only question would be power. There's likely some kind of external battery out there (running the generator wouldn't work, too many extension cords) that we could hook up to the stereos.
Also, I suddenly feel like running around with a knife (not real, within melee guidelines) with a butcher pete loop going. We should get a raider to do that. Or maybe a super mutant. I can see some clan reconing doing that already. ;D

external battery sources are old news. go take a look. The kind that plug into your external outlet but ultimately just go to a bunch of D batteries. Or recharable NiMH power packs.
We've looked into this for running laptops to handle event scoring etc. Do a google search and you'll find them.

I'm looking at upwards of $120 for an external that would last all day. That conclusion song is actually on fallout 3. Plays on some of the radios. Actually, Part 1 is on the radio. At the end of it, it says something like,"Turn this record over, you ain't heard nothin' yet!" The one I posted was Part 2.

I was planning on using a small mp3 player. Shouldn't take that big of a battery, but whatever.

If i am out of nowhere able to to go to aftermath, i will bring a old boombox that plays cd's and runs on batteries along with CD's for GNR and hopefully Enclave Radio, but i dont have enough for Aftermath and neither does my friends so chances are like 20%

Im 15, (awkward for people being told around by a younger kid for not leaving safety goggles on) and what about the people i go with? What would they be able to do, but its ok, this game will be awesome without me, just this game is like crazy since im a huge fallout fan and all but my friends and I dont have 60 dollars each for a event (saving already for my umbrella corp loadout from dave and the new Resident Evil game). Have a great time though and if I have to choose a team that ima hope wins, its the glorious Enclave (or wastelanders). ;D hope game goes with no problems at all
