So as approved by Dave and created by yours truly the Saturday before the Superbowl we will be doing the following.
Two team start on opposite ends of the game field. When the game begins the game ball is kicked/thrown/launched towards one team determined by a coin toss before the game. The team receiving gives the ball to one player and they must try and get the ball to the opposing teams goal.
1. The player with the ball cannot run or shoot, much like the turkey game played before thanksgiving.
2. If the player his shot they must place the ball on the ground where they took the shot. At that point the same team or the opposing team may try and pick up the ball.
3. The player with the ball may throw the ball to another team member. The opposing team is allowed to try and intercept these throws. Just remember rule 1.
4. Once a team has been forced to drop the ball 4 times they must wait for the opposing team to pick the ball up at least once before they may have it again.
5. Each successful score will result in one point to that team.
6. The team with the most points at the end of the game time wins.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now to make the event even more enjoyable I would like to set up a poll to see how everyone wants to run the teams. We can either go Professional and represent the teams playing in the Superbowl, or go college and pick the two teams we wish to represent. Once a style and teams have been chosen each side will need to wear either that teams jersey or colors during the game.
