I think it would be awesome to do like a two day long (give or take) mil-sim game. Something like insane, with night operations, holding down a command post for a certain amount of time, ect. And the story is that we are in the year 2024, four years after the events of Reforger in Iran and the Iranian Military has declared war on the United Nations, but the Iranians are backed by the Taliban, and a Soviet(ish) gorilla faction based out of (what used to be) the SSU. The Soviets want revenge for NATO pretty much destroying their country, so their getting their forces together again.
But it should be like SERIOUSLY mil-sim though, mid caps only, uniform specific teams, radio communication, just the whole deal. Something we could do (for example) is like a NATO convoy, with the Reforger APC, is attacked by the Militants and Soviets.
But there's something new into the mix as well, the Asian Union. After the fall of the SSU, China grew tremendously and took over Korea (since North Korea took over South Korea), and most other South-East Asia, and have greatly indulged into the ideal of Manifest Destiny. So the Asian Union Is at war with both NATO and the Iranian/SSU troops.
So yea just throwing that out there, thought that would be cool, but more or less just a two day (like i said before, give or take) operation, with Night operation and things like that. And the story just kind of went great with what's been going on with the forum lately.

I like the idea. If your on say The Korean gorillas team you have to have an am if your US marines army you have to have m16/m4 special ops could have any weapon

Well the general outline is that forces are to set up a F.O.B., and operate out of it, it's not going to be a full frontal assault. The only way the frontal assault ill be made is if one the forces crosses the DMZ (picture will be posted below) and goes into another forces area. But the most likely thing that is going to happen is that the op is going to be from 10 in the morning, till about 9 or 10 at night. But it's up to the community how long the game will ask.
But all things posted are subject to change, just be warned.

Camping Friday night, and Saturday night. OP ends Sunday at noon to allow people to head home at a decent manner?

camping is no issue as long as there is no fires Well what i plan to do is have two time one at 7:00 PM for people who don't want to stay go home, or to a hotel, and for people who want to stay and camp have a one hour game hiatus. Then restart a game at 8:00 and end at 10:00, which 10:00 will be a sleep break and end the final game of day one. |

a 2+ day event sounds fantastic. let me know the proposed date soon as you get it. late April thru end of May might not work for me (depends on whether i get accepted to air assault and airborne schools). however...either way...get with me if you'd like help making an OPORD for teams, and/or polish up the story. Well as of now the date is set at May 26th and May 27th. May 28th is memorial day so it's a national holiday so no work or school. I found that this date just worked best. But all is subject to change, and Lt i'd love to work with you on an operation ;D

I would greatly love doing this i might be able to do this. It sounds like a lot of fun. I would try to be on the NATO side all i have right now is a M16A1.
