This is still a ways off, but considered one of the best Milsim games in country. I have already made plans to attend this, anyone else planning on attending? Could possibly set up a little convoy/roadtrip up to OK. Also planning to attend other milsim events across Texas for those that are interested.

You will not be dissapointed. Even off times when you're just going on patrols are a blast just because of the environment you're in. Don't know if I can go this year unfortunately.

haha ya with 1000 acres and 50 miles of roads I would assume so. But this would be a great place to play my role as a an active long range shooter, can't wait. I do want to attend other away field milsim events if you up to go dave.

i went to the PB DDAY event 3 years ago, just keep in mind that.... it is BIG, so dont expect people to take hits on the first , second, or even third hit... you have some great players and also some of the worst. its a mix, but being so big the staff an be overwelmed.
but its fun to see everyone.

We haven't decided on it yet, but I wouldn't be surprised to some representation from Clan Reckoning there.

www.Milsimevent.comThe event is run by MSE staff, you can register for their forums to read up on it, official rules are on the main page ( link I gave to you ). These events are usually very strict on uniforms, mag's and other things of that nature. If you would like to know more check out that website.

That website doesn't give many actual details, unless I just suck at looking for information. How much is it, and where exactly in oklahoma is it? I might be able to go if I can pass it off as trip to visit relatives (I have family in OK)

I'd be VERY interested in going!!...and perhaps playing more of a C2 role. I'll look more into this. Pretty sure i can get the time off. It's more of a question whether or not my weapons will be re-up in time. I need to replace the gear box, need a few more gas mags for the pistol, and a pistol conversion kit too. Will need a radio and good head set too. Dave, hit me up. ;-)

The only bad thing is 1-8 will be in red cycle if im not mistaken by then. I already submitted the Da31 from the 25-29 Plenty of time to drive down there and get back.

It's a sad day Poo. OKI7 was cancelled due to the lawsuit going on with MSE. No refunds are being issued and depending on what the judge decides in the lawsuit MSE may no longer be around and if Frosty or Claymore try to put on another similar game they can't call it OKI7 or they may face more lawsuits.

Just got some more info. Refunds via paypal should be sent out to all who prepayed within the next 72 hours. MSE has now changed their name to AmericanMilsim and they're new forums are up and running.

MSE did not change there name, american milsim is a split from the group, and i have a feeling from what i have seen that they will try to have a game but the lawsuit is not resolved from what i have seen posted on some places. just keep looking at there forum.

OKI7 update: MSE has officially canceled OKI7. American Milsim will be hosting Operation broken home at D-Day adventure park on Oklahoma on memorial day weekend. Same location and date as OKI just a different op with a different group. Pre-register for Op: broken home will be open on the American Milsim forum americanmilsim.com soon. Hope this helps Poo and hope you guys still go and have a good time.

I'm still confused on what the lawsuit is about and why the company split.

Update: Claymore was fired from MSE because he supposedly knew about the whole Bushman ordeal and didn't let anyone know. After that Frosty founded the new company American Milsim. Claymore filed a lawsuit against Frosty for trade secret laws so Frosty couldn't use any event names or gameplay scenarios that MSE used which is why OKI7 was canceled.

Update: MSE has released a statement stating that according to the lawsuit the judge has decided to allow MSE to keep the oklahoma invasion series! Those that prepayed for OKI7 will not be refunded but will hopefully still receive a spot for OKI7. While OKI7 cannot be held at D-Day adventure park on memorial day weekend, the usual venue and date, due to Op:Broken Home hosted by AMS, OKI7 will still happen. MSE will post more info as it comes along. As for the time being the MSE website is still down and the lawsuit is still underway.
