With the rule I saw about only able to re-load empty mags at your team areas having Dave support a group will be a big help. It also has stated you can only carry your bio-BBs in the bottle or bins they come in, no zip-top bags, and if I'm reading it right you can not take those extra BBs on the main field only left at the bases to top off when you come back. Again I may be reading it wrong but that is what it looks like.
I look for the site I saw that group of rules on and put a link up to get some more eyes on the rules to help flesh them out. Regardless having a support will be a great boost if you are not going with a team or with a large group of friends who are bringing extra gear.

A lot of the bigger milsim type games are like that, no "loose" ammo carried. Everything must be in a mag or anything as such. This includes Speed loaders, you might have to check on that.

Regardless having a support will be a great boost if you are not going with a team or with a large group of friends who are bringing extra gear. It goes deeper than that - 800 bb limit on your person - mid caps only. If you do the math for 120 round mid caps that comes out to the "standard' load out of 7 mid caps (give or take a few bb's due to all but the most expensive mid caps not actually holding 120 round but more like 90-110)

from there website....
Loadout Requirements: NO Hicap Magazines, Midcap and Realcap only. 800 BB's in primary magazines only. Unlimited BIO BB's can be carried for reload. No Magazine or Loadout restrictions for SAW's.

My call sign is registered as wolf but I will have my fox mask by the time the game comes around so really it won't matter what you call me. As for registration I'm fine how mine is.
Is there anything I need to do this coming Saturday Dave? I'll be down for the RDG Practice run and to see about the uniform, you said woodland right? I'm usually a 33-30 with pants and medium for the jacket, how much will they be?

all others....beware....
remember OPORD Shattered Skies??....that was just a warm-up....
....just wait 'til you see what i can do with a small squad and a built up area....be afraid, be VERY afraid >;-)

Question I forgot the answer to: Do we have to all run together in one squad to get these benefits?
If not, I would really enjoy using that m60 for part of the day.

I'm in no way speaking for Dave on this - but in other Milsim Ops I have been too..I have heard the PLT's state that if you go rouge in their platoon/squads - they will put kill orders out to shoot on site from your own troops. Milsim is all about team work, stick with your assigned squad.

wraven is right, work as a team. i have talked to claymore and we will all be moved into the same squad on the roster.
yes you would have to be with the squad. im not going to give you (or anyone) 400-500 worth of gear and not have you around.
PS you have to register by friday evening!!!!

Make sure to get the pre-approval to field the support weapons from MSE (regarding the M60)

With heavy weapons like the M60 or SAW, you'd probably be best thinking about your level of fitness to carry such a heavy AEG. If you've never been to Ft Hood, it is huge and it's multi-leveled. For Bulldog, I put in 7 miles on my pedometer before 4 PM on day one and I was too tired to play the night game. (I'm old)
The pace of game play is a lot faster too. When you are in the woods at Ft Hood, it's similar to open woods/field style of play. However, when you are in the MOUT cities, you are often running fast crossing open roads that are exposed to windows, doors and murder holes.

we may or may not field the 60/249...
also some people have said that they are having money problems, so here is what i can do......
i will sponsor the team everyone who is approved and joins the team (must sign up by friday) gets... dead rag .....5.00 patch ..... 5.00 T-shirt ..... 10.00 military sweater ..... 15.00 springer holdout pistol (a good one) ..... 20.00 1 free pass to any normal skirmish day ..... 20.00 grenade BB loader (if they get here on time). 10.00
so so you get 85.00 worth of swag if you sign up in the squad... must wear t shirt and patch at the event.... must be in good standing at the end of the day to keep the gear. must be pre approved to qualify (everyone listed now is qualified) just my way of saying thank you. thanks dave
