I've had these for a long time and don't want them anymore. I have 14,000 baseball cards from the 70's to the 00's (mainly 80's and 90's). There are topps, donruss and some others and most are commons. The book value is $1400, im asking $250 or trades for a saw. If you have something else you want to trade just post and I'll see. Thanks

Your best bet may be to take them to a collectible card shop. Don't know about CS, but here in Temple is Kopriva's, and in Waco is Bankston's(if it's still there, been a while since I've been there).

Card shops will rip you off, but good luck getting a deal anywhere with those unless you have some reaaaally rare cards

i have about 30-35000 base ball, football, hocky, nascar, star wars, battlestar (1970s), and many rare desert storm topps base ball cards..... last time i checked they were all worth about 200.00 for everything wholesale prices. dont even think you are going to get 30% from the becketts price list.

I've been to pawn shops, collectibles shops, and any other places I could think of. Nobody wants them right now and I can't get rid of them.

If you want to get what they're worth, your going to have to find the ones that are actually worth something and take the time to auction them off individually, and make nice listings with multiple pictures showing the condition of the card.

Basically, cards made after 1980 aren't worth anything. Companies started mass producing them and flooded the market, so too many of them are still floating around today. The 1970's ones may be worth something though.
If you want to get anything for them, your best bet would be to sort though them and find the ones that are semi-rare and then sell those individually on eBay or some other auction website (most profit for you) or at a hobby shop. However, you could probably get more money by doing actual work rather than spending hours sorting and researching thousands of cards.

That's why I'm trying to sell them all. I don't want to spend the time, nor do I have the time

right now there is NO money in most BB cards, you would have more in magic cards.
while the country is in the economic problems that we have right now people are dumping the card collections they have right now. any collectible (cars / militaria / dolls /etc...) have lost up to 90% of there value from 2008. best thing you can do is put them away and they will start to become worth something in 10-15 years.
