im looking for some stripped down cars for wrecks.
a 1980s / 90s ull sized van or chevy suburban (must be street safe). it needs to be able to move and have clam shell doors at the rear.
all vehicles must have titles.
also be on the look out for metal storage containers 8, 20 and 40 foot.
lets get rid of the wood buildings and move forward with a better mount site.

if attendence picks up i could do one of them.
obamas cash for clunkers has killed the used car market. most think there cars are worth way more than they are. but once you take 1/2 million cars off the market the demand will drive up the prices.

Well those are all for sale by owner. You're completely right, though. Anything that was listed as a dealer sale was twice, if not three times, more than anything owner sold. I don't have much car buying experience but I get told all the time that prices in Killeen are jacked way up just to take advantage of soldiers with money. My folks always end up goin to Austin or somewhere else far to buy cars.
I did laugh because dealers were putting prices up to like $30,000 on some newer models. No one on Craigslist is looking to spend more than a few grand.

also with the dollar so low right now scrap steel is going overseas faster than they can collect it. add to that that once a car goes into a scrap yard thats it, many laws say it cant come out unless crushed.

well there's some stuff i didn't know. crushed cars could still work i suppose. stack several to make walls or somethin. could be a potential safety hazard though with sharp edges and falling potential.

you then run into title probems, and no way to make them safe if crushed.
