Hallo, meine freunde... Woops, sorry. Wrong language... Hello, my friends... You can call me TW4449. I am a chairsofter (meaning I've never been to an event), who lives in Fort Worth. If you couldn't tell by my opening line, I do a German impression for WWII airsoft. I am the other half of Rottenfuhrer Buckley's 12th SS team, as well as doing Volkssturm militia. He and I are both looking for events to go to in late spring/early summer, so we'll be keepin' an eye out for any posted here. As for my gun of choice, ya'll will hate me for this... but it's the Dboys 98k. Of course, the upgrades it takes to make it worthwhile means it's practically a new gun... but oh well. That is all, and I hope to see you on the field... Auf Wiedersehen! ;D

What upgrades would those be? If I do ever start a World War 2 impression, I'd like to carry a kar98k, but the DBoys, as it comes to start with, isn't all that great by all accounts, and a tanaka is $450-$500. I'd rather buy a real one, at those rates.

@ben: For the most part, replacing the inner barrel and giving it a more powerful spring cures most of it's woes.
