Dave can I come out sometime and just use the range? I'll pay a fee to use the "field" for the day (I'm happy to help out the field anytime), but what I really need is jus repeat practice hitting targets at range. My problem is that I just DON'T KNOW how far to compensate for drop, etc, and I just need a target that I can shoot over and over to get the hang of it. Then I can take that on the field and refine it against targets (players) at various ranges.
I'd just rely on games to practice, but I get tagged out so quick (due to lack of situational awareness practice) that I don't actually get very many chances to fire my gun, and when I do I get the feeling that I'm not even close, lol.
So yea... Maybe this saturday can I come out for an hour or two before work and shoot some targets?

Or you can totally be trained by me and maybe join the team...
;D
I get my practice on the field....it's best. only time I use the range is to get the range of my replica.

Well, when I'm on the field I'm trying to focus on everything at once, and I'd like some time where I can focus JUST on my aim, and kinda get it so that it becomes second nature, since right now I have to think about it a lot. It's just kinda how I work Having said that, I'm ALWAYS open to training, lol.

Don't just practice at the range, If the field is empty see if Dave will let you run drills through the city field. Move from building to building putting shots through the various windows or at targets (traffic cones, buckets etc.) . It would be a good excerise in movement, shooting as well as being able to prioritize targets. We used to run drills like that with stop watches each week durng team practices. After a few runs, you could see the times decrease, and the shooters skills increasing. It's also kinda fun to do with friends, just to see who gets the best times.
