My friend and I drove down from Dallas on Labor day and had a great time. The fields are diverse and Dave keeps the pace up for maximum game time. I am used to playing at places in and around DFW and feel like I got a better experience at Dave's place than anywhere else. I needed some technical advise on some issues I was having with my guns, while I was there and Dave, (athough not a tech), helped out extremely. He gave me a great deal on some new equipment that I wouldn't have gotten anywhere else. Can't wait for the op at the end of October, so I will be heading out there again.
Thanks Dave
His inventory is amazing!

If you've been out to aweekend game, then you've been to a skirmish. Which is a set of shorter more casual games of varying types. An OP is usually one day-long game with a backstory to get people more into a role. There are usually scripted "events" that take place at certain times during the day, or after a certain objective is achieved. There is usually a points system used to determine a clear winning team. Medics are generally used in an OP so that a player can return to the action at some point after beig killed. Read thru the Shattered Skies thread to get an idea of the story. And ask any more questions you might have.
