Yes i love my m1a1 it is a great shooting gun and is definently an accurate shooter. i do have a question about it though. i currently am using an 8.4volt which is 1200mAh battery and i was wondering if i can use a 9.6v 1600mAh or if it will be to much for my gun a destroy gears in it??? I will appreciate any comments on this thank you

Cant help you with pictures, but I can help you with battery. Using a 9.6 WILL give you a higher rate of fire, but because of that, yes, it will wear down the gears faster. Its like going fully auto vs. going semi, of course auto wears faster, because more BBs are being fired. the mah doesnt matter, thats just the amount of bbs that can be fired, how much energy it can store. Yes, Im pretty sure your gun can handle a 9.6, but if the 8.4 works fine for you, using it will cause your gun to last SLIGHTLY longer.

The battery voltage wont change your fps, at least not significantly. It only really changes the rate of fire, though you might see a change in fps of about 3-5.

To see what the fields look like, you can goto the "Photos and Downloads" thread on the forums here to see pics from different games. Also Dave has a Youtube Ch with tours of the fields and some game footage: www.youtube.com/user/allera44

How do you plan on making it?

6 PVC tubes held together with braces, use a cordless drill to turn the gun, use a M-4 with a high speed motor and a M-249 box mag. mount the gun in the center of the spinning brls. the brls spin the gun and houseing will not. dave

if you are useing the CO2 canister, a hopper and hose then you will have a problem..... how can you crono it? and it will be subject to crazy shifts in FPS due to temp.

i already realized there is no easy way to keep a constant fps like with using a battery which is why i am still working on the actual plans for the gun itself i am going to try to have it done before i move to bliss so i can bring it out and show yall. but i still got lots of thinking and figuring to do

if you are useing the CO2 canister, a hopper and hose then you will have a problem..... how can you crono it? and it will be subject to crazy shifts in FPS due to temp. Regulator with expansion chamber with a HPA remote, and most tanks now a days have a anti syphon filter to help prevent dryice problems
