Operation trench turtle
Date: July 16 - July 17
Time line:
10:00 Gates open
11:00 Sign in / trench occupation starts
13:00 Safety briefing
14:00 Phase I starts, first round down range.
18:00 Phase I ends, break in action
18:30 Dinner at admin building (provided)
17:45 reoccupation of trenches
20:00 Phase II starts, first round down range.
23:00 phase II ends, head count and stand down.
06:00 stand too, breakfast in position if wanted (cold tea, bread, cheese)
07:00 phase III starts, first round down range
10:00 Final stand down.
Cost 40.00
Tee shirts and dinner provided.
Type of event
Terrain: trench warfare
Mission type: modified capture the flag
Weapon requirements: all AEGs / Guns must be under 350 for event. If you do not have a under 350FPS gun and request one it can be provided. You must provide the 7.2 or 8.4 batteries. There will be a limited number of snipers (up to 450FPS) and support weapons (up to 400 fps). Contact me to fill the slots.
Uniform Allied will be tan based uniforms.
German gray / or green based.

1. SITUATION
a. Enemy forces. XI corps German army (green uniforms with gray shirts)
1st division
2nd division
b. Friendly forces. II allied corps
90th US division
3rd UK division (London)
c. Attachments and detachments. (off board but in play)
110 heavy artillery bde (CA)
323 light artillery (US)
54th Chem (UK)
2. MISSION to secure as many flag points on the opposing teams side as possible in the 20 hrs the mission is run.
3. EXECUTION
Intent: to secure as many points while causing as much damage to the enemy as possible.
a. Concept of operations.
(1) Maneuver large maneuvers will be controlled at corps level with the divisions using discretion to plan raids.
(2) Fires. Heavy artillery will be called in by corps and light by divisions.
(3) Reconnaissance and Surveillance. Will be conducted by line of sight units and raiding parties.
(4) Intelligence . Intell will be given as needed by earleybird intell (OC)
(5) Engineer engineer duties will be carried out by division units using man portable earth moving devices (MPEMD)
(6) Air Defense none
(7) Information Operations none
b. Tasks to maneuver units.
c. Tasks to combat support units.
(1) Intelligence use patroles to gain intell
(2) Engineer improve positions using all class 4 items avabile to each unit.
(3) Fire Support must have eyes on target (direct or via periscope) to call fires.
(4) Air Defense none
(5) Signal all signals will be via flags or land line using field phones, wire if cut must be fixed.
(6) NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) if cough in gas cloud you will be asses as a causality.
(7) Provost Marshal. Ocs will be on sight direction operations for safety.
(8) PSYOP you may mess with the Germans to cause them to make a mistake.
(9) Civil military, civilians and media will be in the area.

d. Coordinating instructions.
(1) Time or condition when a plan or order becomes effective
(2) CCIR (Commander's Critical Information Requirements)
(3) Risk reduction control measures
(4) Rules of engagement , 20 foot for AEGs, all AEGs will be on semi with the exception of designated MG sections. 100 ft for snipers.
(5) Environmental considerations, all trash will be collected.
(6) Force protection NA
(7) As required NA
4. SUSTAINMENT (formerly Service Support)
a. Support concept. All ammo, and food(classV and class I) will be brought with you, not left in car.
b. Materiel and services. Provided by the field class IV yard.
c. Medical evacuation and hospitalization. As per field rules.
d. Personnel. Must sign up prior to being assigned a slot.
e. Civil military. NA
f. As required. NA
5. COMMAND AND CONTROL (formerly Command and Signal)
a. Command. By signal phone (no radios for non OC or command personnel)
b. Control.
must have 50 people sign up to happen.
