im looking to get a good target shooting gun. im looking at this A&K SVD but i was wandering if there is any other guns out there. if u want to get a cheap taget gun, get a cheap l96 or jgbar10. or any other clone. No point on spending 150 for a gun u don't plan on skirmishing.

i have 2 sniper rifles in now and have about 200 more guns on the way that should be here net mon - wen.
as far as just target shooting i have a REAL nice M-4 springer and a full sized M16A1 springer for 50.00 or so each, they shoot hard and are new in the box.

I have the A&K SVD great gun, right out of the box shoots 455fps. You will have trouble getting a scope for it for cheap. It's a real pain on the hand after five or more pulls on the charging handle. Use some .36s in it and it shoots great.

the SVD erick has is a V.good gun, if you want i will see if i can get it, if so i will beat that price.

sparton imports and palco are sold out of that gun.
the semi auto one is in the container headed here but i dont have a del date yet.

I Dont need the scope or anything. Im doing a bare bones type target shooting and i feel scopes are to hard to use. I like the scope but for what im doing its not neccesary or wanted.

Don't spend so much money on something like a sniper rifle without getting the scope.

I use Reddots on most of my snipers minus my Bolt action one.

I use scopes on both of mine. Makes shooting a blast. With the PSO-1 on the SVD you can still use the iron sights it's the best of both worlds.
