The event is now a standard high tempo 6 hr battle of a what if situation.

Central powers (Germany, Austria Hungary, Ukrainian forces)vs. the western allies (British empire, French empire forces, USA).

The scenario is simple WWI and so there was no need for WWII. Africa and Asia is still broken up into the respective empires. The stress is building due to a great depression and the need for more resources. This has resulted in an incident sparking a grand war in 1985. The battle is centered around Ypers Belgium and will entail city, hedgerow, trench, bunker, and wooded fighting.

The flag system will be used around the field and will be scored after every hour, 15 flags are around the field.
Units may ask for special points missions if behind (10 points). This will be a hard to accomplish special mission to help even out a battle.

Free stuff, 1-2 AEGs, helmets, and more in the drawing. The more players the more door prizes.

5.00 hot dog dinner offered

you are the 4th person in the last 6 or so months that have had there post pulled down about the field from what i have been told. even when i was not running the event they were still pulled down, and sent threats to the poster about it. this was done both before and after Austin wolf called people liars for saying they were censored. trust me i have been called nearly everything in the book by some of the LSA people. big deal. they say they don't sensor, but you cant post anything positive about the temple field, negative yes, positive no. sounds like something Hugo Chavez would do.

i think there are some great people in the Austin area but the site (LSA) is being run by some people that are doing some serious damage to the airsofting community in my opinion.

don't worry about it, word will get out and we will have a great time. i don't want the drama that comes with a small part of the LSA community

I'll go in for the tan team, I dont have DCUs, but I can definetly just grab some tan cargos and pull off the "PMC" look.

Im wondering about the "sniper" role, as Im currently only able to run with my UTG master sniper rifle so, I'm not attatched to a team currently, nor can I get anyone to vouch for me, does this mean I need to rent an AEG?
