Hey everyone! It will be good to mix it up with everyone this weekend as the Hillcrest Iron heads back to Kookaburra Field as living, breathing, walking targets for everyone!
In collaboration with Kookaburra Field, we will be having a special opportunity in which you can give back to those kids that are less fortunate this holiday season.
As a kid, Christmas is always a special time. Unless your parents can't afford toys. Or they drink or smoke that toy money. In any case, the kids shouldn't suffer. If you want to help put a toy in a less fortunate kids hands this Christamas, feel free to bring a toy out to the field this Saturday and our church will make sure they get to kids who need them.
How, you might ask? Our church is active in Operation Christmas Child, in which shoe boxes are filled with toys and items for a child, and then they are sent to those kids in need around the world. Last year 8 million of these were delivered to kids around the world!! Cool, eh? Ya. We will also be active in the Bryan Police Toy Drive this Christmas, so if you would like to bring a larger toy for this, please feel free to do so!
Oh- and just in case you are wondering what could be in this for you, aside from the warm feelings that come from doing the right thing to help kids in need, I believe Dave might even do something for those that want to bring a toy out. He might even chime in here at some point.
Don't feel like you have to though! We will see everyone out on the field this Saturday! We are currently bringing 12, and am still waiting on a word from several others. Should be a great time!

Ah, but Paul, we have a new strategy! We pop up and down a wee bit quicker! And we have instructed the girls to cut down on their screaming when attacked (hopefully to only a 2 second outburst) , thus giving you less time to triangulate their positions. I am hoping this allows us to survive for a little bit longer We shall see! It will be a great match either way!

Thinking about Kraut and I acting as "advisors" for your team. Final decision will be based on who all shows up. Less screaming? Is that not a violation of physics and nature? At least for females? I'm sure it will be a great match either way.

With this many people we should have game objectives. Think that would make it a little more interesting. Espically for the newer people, other than the ol' fashion skirmish games. Just a suggestion, that and I think it would give the hillcrest guests a taste of a differnet kind of game play. Ie; hold the town , gather intel, or even a sniper ambush.
